Anniegirl22--do you have a close up of the scarf you made for murbeck?  I want to see the stitching...it looks so interesting and textural...the one you got is also gorgeous...

what is the stitch and is it crochet or knit?  You look ADORABLE!

What an interesting description, Miss Barbara!  I hope someone posts a picture!

Thanks alwaysinmyroom! you're so sweet. I took the picture I can't seem to get a good close up. I'm not sure what pattern Murbeck used, but it's so gorgeous. it's like a sideways ribbing or something. here's one in natural light.

7  Vegan Comfort Food!! (Garlicy goodness) in Vegetarian / Vegan by annigirl22 on: January 26, 2013 07:45:37 PM
I found this blog,
http://sweetbeetandgreenbean.net/
which has tons and tons of goodness in my opinion. Smiley

I made this garlic baked pasta recipe off the site. OMG. since I have been off of dairy items, this is hand to God the BEST recipe I've found when it comes to baking pasta. I constantly miss having mac n cheese. diaya is good, but it's got NOTHING on this recipe. it's garlicy goodness is amazing. amazing. I could go on about this forever clearly. but I think anyone who bothers to read this should try it. it's so simple! takes very little time. Smiley

if you roast two heads of peeled garlic,
add that to your food processor or blender, olive oil (which I used about 1/2 cup of)
some salt, probly not more than a tsp though.
blend well!
add to cooked pasta with some spinach (I used frozen and it turned out great)
I baked it at 325 cause I was using glass, for about 25 minutes.

I LOVE THIS. I just wish I could get everyone to try it. my whole family liked it, and they aren't usually partial to me creating foods without milk. (ha ha) they had no idea that it had tofu in it. ha ha.

I know I need to work on the photos and stuff. the red counter/yellow stove is just to sexy to get away from. (we don't have anything closer to normal at my house. lol)

8  Re: Falling for Autumn Rd 2 GALLERY!! in The Swap Gallery by annigirl22 on: November 03, 2012 10:54:04 AM
ok, I FINALLY got my computer/cameras talking... so this should work today!

I got THE BEST package from RhymeswithOrange!

She was super sweet, and gave me stuff I love. <3
this gorgeous headband!! which is wool!

this is a better pic of the colors it includes

and(2 skiens!!) HANDSPUN WOOL!!! Something I am always jonesing after!

She had dyed it with eucalyptus because I had a pin that had these gorgeous redish copperish colors that comes from natural dyes... naturally, they turned this amazing color of green instead, which I still LOVE! it's amazing.
also, RhymeswithOrange, I dunno that you can see it, cause I can't seem to get a good picture of it, but there is a coppery twinge in a few places.

this gorgeous orange colored skein of handspun yarn also!

the cutest giraffe off my pinterest!

group shot!!
also, she sent lots of candy, but that was lost/taken the instant the package was open! Wink silly family members

thanks so much!! I love everything this was such a great swap!

9  sunshine monsters in Crochet: Completed Projects by annigirl22 on: September 23, 2012 09:30:18 PM
I made these monsters for the MONSTERS swap! For kittyherman. (I don't know how to do the clicky thing to her name)
It was REALLY hard for me to give these away, but that's always how I tell I did a good job on my work.
I'm super excited to show these off, I don't think I've ever done such a good job on a project. Cheesy
They're sc stitches, kinda like the amigurumi things that people make, I made it for her daught, who has a birthday soon.
They're cotton, because I personally think it's better to have cotton because kids like to suck on things. at least in my experience. Smiley

my big was the orange one, clearly it's my favorite.... lol.

and one more, because although I'm not a teenager, I like pictures too. lol

thanks for looking

I love comments or constructive crit's!

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

10  can't ya hear; can't you hear the thunder in Crochet: Completed Projects by annigirl22 on: September 21, 2012 11:41:33 PM
I made this hatttt!! It took like an hour or something. Maybe an hour and a half or something. I'm always super cold at work, and needed something besides just my hoodie today since the temp dropped again. I made it with wool-ease, in "Wheat" color, with "Denim" as the band. It was going to be a stripe, but when I tried it on, it was too the point on my head where I needed to stop

(the towel was hanging in EXACTLY the right spot, and makes me look fat. lol [I'm not really.])

Kinda close ups, these are the best I could get this late. lol. There's like NO natural light.

(C&C Welcome!!)
Thanks for looking! <3
