I found the most wonderful things to keep art/craft supplies close at hand and easy to find! I got 3 "lingerie organizers" for 70c apiece at the dollar store. They are flat plastic sheets with  9 approx 3x5 pockets. My stamps, glue sticks, markers, and just about everything else fits perfectly in them -- and they hang in the closet, taking up very very little space! I also got a hanging "shoe organizer" for  under 5 bucks. It holds fabric very nicely, and best of all, it's clear! I think I'm finally going to get this "organization" thing implemented into my messy life!

My father passed away last week. I'd like to make a quilt of the mostly cotton button-down shirts he left behind, but I'm not sure where to start. Of course, I could do just plain old squares, but I was wondering if anyone has any other bright ideas about how to construct the quilt top or any special touches I could add? I'd like to make it for my mother for xmas, and I might have enough to actually make 2 quilts.... Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I really want to make a unique planner for my bf for xmas, with quotes, pics I've scanned in, etc personal touches. BUT, I cannot figure out how to print the pages so that they will be in order once bound-- and double-sided at that! Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I want to make it about 1/4 of a regular sheet of typing paper, with sewn signatures. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!
