Just a note about bridesmaid dresses -- I had great luck at Vanity/Maurices (girly dept stores).  I asked my bridesmaids to pick a top in a fall color and pair it with a black skirt of their choosing - Everyone did great picking out solid colored gorgeous tops that flatter them, and only had to spend a small fraction of what a David's dress would cost! :-)

Power cords are pretty generic.  You should be able to McGyver any power cord/pedal to fit your machine.  I actually found a Singer 'pedal' for my Necchi so it would fit in the little   slot for the knee pedal.  I got it at a thrift store after haggling with the manager about 'only' taking the pedal for the full price of the machine.  You might do well to check out a used sewing machine shop, as they might actually have a bunch on hand they're willing to get rid of. PM me if you're interested in more Singer feet for the cost of shipping :-).
