I suggest knitting a scarf. i recently finished knitting a red&orange striped scarf for my aunt and it looks very Harry Potter-like.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the one for #3&4. I'm starting to think about doing a 'japan in a box' and a 'hong kong in a box'. Any suggestions?

Hey guys! I want to get some Christmas gift for my friends this year, but I dont have that much money to spend, so I thought I'll make them gifts instead! Lol. I'm also buying some gifts (stationary & etc.) online at QOutlet.com. I wanna give them some cute, quirky, and useful stuff. I'm also giving knitted scarves & nice soap bars as gifts to some people I'm not too close to.

I like the 'in a box' gift idea and I can knit scarves very quickly. I cant think of anything to get my friends:

1. THE BEST FRIEND & TWIN IN THE BRAIN : loves japan & japanese stuff, loves colorful things (like baby blue&pink), hello kitty, very fashionable (like scaves), loves jewelry (especially pearls), hates fruity scented things, pucca, kpop (boa, kiss*, she, wax*, etc.) , jpop (sandara, mymp, nina, nyoy, kitchie_nadal, volante, etc.), loves vaseline, wears reading glasses, and needs a day of relaxation.
2. THE GOOD FRIEND DOWN THE BLOCK : book nerd, boy crazy, loves cute stationary, very quirky, wears glasses, likes dogs, and more.
3. THE ROCKER FRIEND #1 : loves her guitar, debbie loves derby, graphic tees, bracelets&wristbands, cool hats, loves ducks, and favortie color is black&red.
4. THE ROCKER FRIEND #2 : like photography, graphic tees, black&red, loves drawing (loves it!), likes ducks, very similar to rocker friend #1, and love to read.
5. THE SUPERCOOL GIRLFRIEND : misses HK, loves doing her nails, has tons of free time, never gives the house without something green or pink & loves colorful things, loves the computer & her camera, loves jewelry (especially earrings&necklaces&bracelets), loves cute asian stationary, loves hong kong, and cute keychains.
6. THE SORT OF OLD BEST FRIEND : likes blue, dogs, and cute stationary.
7. THE SHY GIRL WHO HATED ME FOR 'STEALING HER BOYFRIEND' : loves final fantasy, learning how to speak japanese, very shy, loves blue, loves jpop (koda kumi, Chieco Kawabe, Tackey & Tsubasa, ARASHI, Lead, NewS, Aya Matsuura, Morning Musume, Utada Hikaru, m-flo, ZONE, SweetS, crystal kay, etc.), and stars.
8. THE 'MAN' GIRL : loves sports especially football&wrestling&basketball, loves sparkly bracelets, and the phillipines.
9. THE MEANIE : loves the phillipines, and dark blue&purple.
10. THE CARPOOL LADY & HER GRANDDAUGHTER : uhh.....

Any help would be great. Thanks!

6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Beauty Sercrets Here on: February 20, 2005 05:51:21 PM
well, here's my regimen to keep my skin soft and glowing:
   - wash your face twice a day with a cleanser that has a special formula for
     your specific skin type
   - scrub your face with a gentle exfoliant two to three times a week (i
scrub my face after the wash it)
   - apply on an astringent or toner after washing and/or scrubing your face
   - i use the biore pore strips once a week to get rid of my blackheads after
     washing, scrubing, and toning.
   - its really important to apply a good moisturizer twice a day after washing,
     scrubing, and toning your face

i drink a lot of water too. dont wear makeup when you're exercising because your skin can breakout afterwards. and get sleep!!
