3  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / DIY yarn winder on: March 02, 2008 07:15:42 PM
Is this even possible? There are no no resources in town for me to pick one up and buying one online is an incredible hassle.

Could I make one? Or should I just suck it up and get one on the net, if so...which are the best? Even better, which ones work okay and are inexpensive?

Thank you so so so much for any help!!

Alison

5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Greetings from Sunny California! on: February 10, 2008 10:47:26 AM
Hiya, I'm Alison.
I'm a senior in high school and going to Humboldt Uni in fall.
I started the knitting club at my school.
People pay me to knit them hats, which buys me items that I shouldn't have.  Wink
I try to either buy handmade or make my own things, so far I've been succeeding.

How are you all?
