1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Mug Rug Swap Gallery! (SendOut Feb 22) on: March 01, 2011 07:15:16 PM
I'm so glad to hear that. Thanks!

so many great new rugs!! everyone is doing such an amazing job....... love love love the tree one.... DQH, which one of your partners made which rug?

Aren't they amazing.  dfabbric made the one with the amazing trees and imokaynow did the great purple diamond one.  They get traded between my sewing table, my desk and where ever my girls run off with them.  Both are very loved.

I am so embarassed that I am late with this (big work project came up that has been keeping me up many nights working until 3 to 4 am) but I received my awesome mug rug from Disco Queen Highness with some pretty amazing quilting wok. I absolutely love it. Thank you!

Totally cute. I also love the mug. I need one saying that everything tastes better with rabbit hair.

I received an awesome mug rug from Mommy The Maid. I mentioned that I loved cherries and red so she apliqued cherries onto a denim background with a red border. I absolutely love it. Thank you so much!

They really are and also a lot more fun than the grocery store receipt I am currently using.

I received my awesome package today from sdelnegro514. Here's what was inside.

The first item was a pencil pouch. I work with handicapped kids and I have a big bag that I keep all my paperwork in and this will be great for smaller items.

Next is a crocheted wrist cuff. Perfect for driving. The left heat vent doesn't blow as much hot air as the right.

My bunnies and I thank you for the perfect pincushion to keep pins from falling and potentially hurting them.

These are so adorable. Shrinky Dink bookmarks with drawings of the Killjoys, the name of my favorite song from the album, and "Killjoys make some noise" with the spider. Here's a closeup:

Thank you so much for the awesome package! I love everything.

Yays! Now I'm all excited. I am petrified of driving in the snow since I got in a car accident after the ice storm back in '08. I begged my father to drive my package to the post office to mail it out for me and he did. So shutterbugkate should be receiving later this week as well.

I'm in Maine. My town doesn't have town plowing and subcontracts. It also really gets me that they didn't cancel school today but instead they are doing an early dismissal at 11:00. So instead, the schools still will probably have to go one more day this year and the cost of transporting the students is astronomical. My father drives for the district and the district pays about $50 + his pay every day just to transport one student to a special center for handicapped kids.

Are you in the northeast? My post office shuts down when the weather is bad since it's such a rural area. I don't even think they're open today. All the schools are dismissing already and the storm is supposed to go into tomorrow with about 9" of snow.
