42  Huge needles in Knitting: Completed Projects by magadoo on: October 26, 2008 03:00:36 PM
So, I went to the Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY for the first (!) time this summer and it was awesome.  While I was walking around, I fancied a peek at some very large knitting needles.  Behold...

If only I was adept at knitting as I am at crocheting!  I'd be all over these needles.

43  Re: Disposable camera swap 5 Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by magadoo on: September 10, 2008 05:52:38 PM
Yay! I've received!  Here are a few of my favorite pics and the very neat book picture frame!

(It's kind of hard to see but I really like this photo because of the rubber duckie on the rail! It took a second look to notice it!)

Thank you Tellevator!

44  Some new items in Crochet: Completed Projects by magadoo on: May 25, 2008 10:15:14 AM
For a swap I just finished (yay! it was my first one) I made a flower headband following the flower pattern from http://tallennl.livejournal.com/13248.html and I just made up the band part.  I also crocheted a bear hat using the pattern for the boy beanie in The Happy Hooker: Crochet book and I just made up the ears.

I placed the flower so it would be off to the side instead of in the middle

Thanks for looking! Enjoy!

45  Indy's necessities in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by magadoo on: May 25, 2008 10:09:14 AM
I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opening night and I loved it so much I was inspired to make a pair of earrings.  This was my first time using sculpy clay, so be kind...

Indy's hat, and yes, it does have the ribbon around it like Indy's does

Indy's whip.  I did have the end of the whip frayed but it broke off after baking  Embarrassed

The earrings together... Enjoy!

46  Alice and the White Rabbit as shrinky dinks! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by magadoo on: May 25, 2008 10:05:37 AM
So, for a recent swap, I made a pair of Alice in Wonderland earrings from shrinky dinks!  Unfortunately, I only took one picture, but I like how they turned out.

Alice's skin tone isn't as dark as the picture shows... there was some odd lighting going on!

Thanks for looking!

Ok, so after kish's reminder to PM her that I received, I did. I don't know if she got the message but I'm just so excited to post!  Here's my loot from Lindy!

All the loot together

My cupcake bag that already has all my crafty things inside!

My jar of whimsies, a notebook and tissues in my fave color green!

Yes, this is a cereal box wallet made from yummy Lucky Charms!

A very nice decoupage box

Some cute sock pouches! (I wonder what to put in them?)

And my favorite item, elephant earrings!

Again, thank you so much Lindyv321!!!

I love all your amigurumi.  I was just telling my friend that I wanted to make a Zoidberg... He's my favorite character on Futurama.  I just made a brain slug... see

Keep on with the amigurumi!
