1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Shmee! From JTHM~ Squee on: December 01, 2011 01:32:14 PM
A few weeks ago I was about to visit a friend I had not seen in 3 years~ 2 years ago he asked me to make him a Shmee from the comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.  With just two days to go I ran to the thrift shop, picked up a teddy bear for 50 cents, hacked him up a bit, glued and sewed some felt to him and VIOLA!  Shmee!

He really loved his shmee!

I was happy to give an old unloved teddy a new life and home. Smiley
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / First Jewelry made~ Petrified Wood, Copper, Hemp & Skull beads on: February 13, 2011 10:47:16 AM

This past week I started making jewelry.  I wrapped some petrified wood that I found in Arizona in copper that I stripped from a cord. My boyfriend Trey did the pendant on the right for his sister, i got the beads and made the hemp necklaces and the one on the left.  I also made a necklace with a awesome bright blue skull bead I bought for just 60 cents!  I also got hot pink, orange, white, and green skulls.
See how the bark is still there on the left necklace?  I thought it was cool.  Smiley

Thanks for looking! I hope to make some more this week. Cheesy

So, I make these weird little creatures that I call Yetis.  A lot of my friends really love them and one of my friends really wanted a back pack Yeti.  So, I made one!  I love him soooo much and can't wait to find some more furry fabric to give me an excuse to make one for myself.

7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Personalized Clock for Dad's Workshop & Christmas Cactus on: January 04, 2010 09:10:35 AM
When I was Nine I made a pretty ugly clock for my dad's garage...  He is always working in his "man cave" on furniture, clocks, his MG TC or other various projects.  So for Christmas this year I decided to upgrade his childish time piece into something a little more... Grown Up.

I bought a plain clock from Lowe's Hardware and a scrapbook paper kit from wal*mart and voila!

"Bruce's Workshop"

While checking out they had Christmas Cacti on sale, so I bought one and spiffied it up:

I made a little sign with cardstock and a painted plastic knife:

& the Backside:

In retrospect, I wish I had written care instructions on the backside...  But live & Learn!  He loves it! Not bad for last minute gifts.
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Little Monsters Everywhere! (Photo Heavy b/c there's a lot of 'em!) on: December 25, 2009 09:26:45 AM
So... a while ago I started making these little monsters that I call "Yetis".  For about 8 months I stopped making them and then I went insane and made a ton!  here's a few.  Most of them are sold, and some of them are just hanging around.  They're made from whatever cheap fabric I can find (thrift, dept, given by friends) and stuffing.  Plus other little odds and ends.   Cheesy I love 'em!

Dready Yeti w Brother, perhaps?

This one was made for my nephew's first birthday

These little guys made for a coworker's daughters  for Christmas

One for my boyfriend's little sister (which he is modeling for us)

A few just hanging out on my chair

Skinny legs

A whole bunch getting ready to be shipped and sold

Hope you like 'em! Although they are a bit crazy, they are very loveable
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / More Monster Plushies, Bondage Plushie/Pillowbag on: January 07, 2009 09:10:08 PM
Two Christmas presents for my friends!

I am really happy with the horns, although one leg is considerably shorter than the other, oopsies!

This one is awesome!  My friend requested a bondage one.  So here he is!  Complete with nipple rings, a zipper mouth that is also a pouch for carrying things, leather straps and ass-less chaps (I forgot to take a picture of this unfortunately  Undecided )

(I really like the fabric I used for inside his mouth!)

My initials (you can kind of see his furry little butt cheeks in this one- so cute!)

Thanks for looking!  Comments and Questions welcome!  Sorry for the crappy pics I really hate my camera... but atleast I have one!  Grin
