1  Present for a little cousin. in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mytatybug on: June 24, 2008 07:36:18 PM
My husbands cousins birthday is today and I made her this shirt. She's a very sassy little girl so I had the thought of a shirt like thisin my head and decided now would be a perfect time to try/do it!

I've never really appliqued before... I mean I've tried, but i don't really love it. I think it looks okay but not great.... but I'm sure she'll like it anyway. Here it is!!!

2  Daughters 1st birthday outfit.... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mytatybug on: June 01, 2008 12:30:14 AM
Daughter is going to be 1 in 2.5 weeks  Shocked
So I've been trying to find something for her to wear. I'm very into getting her dressed up for her birthday. Well, her theme is mermaids so I made her a sea colored tutu... but what to go with it for a top??? Well what better than a bikini style top with ruffles?? Since her invitations are of a mermaid with a pink top and her fins are the exact color of her tutu I decided to make her this.... I'll probably make another one because this top was my first shot at making this. I was inspired by another outfit I bought for her to crawl and play in at her birthday but I used no pattern..... just kind of winged it. Please tell me what you think about it!! Don't mind the messy, messy hair in the pic of her. I had made this shirt when she was sleeping so naturally, I had to put this on her and take her picture AS SOON as she woke up!! LOL
(also, that is not the finished tutu, just a bunch of tulle so you can have an idea of the color of the tutu and how it goes with the top)

3  dress for my lil bug in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mytatybug on: May 17, 2008 10:57:23 PM
I post replies, but never my own stuff...

I made this for my daughter for summer. It's not my pattern... I'm definately not capable of making my own patters or winging it at all!!

It looks funky on the hanger, but it looks better on her I believe.

Comments and Constructive criticism welcomed!!!

Action Shot!!!
