Guilty! I swiped the idea to house some coffee scented milk bath in the bath/spa swap, although I didn't realize I'd seen it here. (I was just too excited over having acquired some coffee butter to remember. Sorry!) Thank you for such a cool packaging tip and many apologies for running off with it.  Embarrassed
12  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: My first "real" stained glass project! on: March 25, 2008 03:41:35 PM
Wow, that's fantastic!
Are there still fuses in it, or would it be safe to throw a tap light behind that glass to show it off?

Ah! I <3 the level requirement followed by 'please drink responsibly.' That is awesome!!!

Haha! I have that on hand. Thank you much! Now if you'll excuse me I have some BPAL to go use up.

Oh my goodness! This is going to be a swap where there's just so much to be jealous about!  Cheesy
Those washcloths make me wish I wasn't a danger to myself and others with textile needles and the tart melts. ::knocks self on head:: Why didn't I ever think of making those- I use scented oil burners all the time! Do you think you could share your recipe with us?

Now I'm feeling really anxious because I'm not sure mine's going to measure up on this one!

I love lavender.  I am going to grow some in my garden this year.

I love lavender because it's just about the only thing that survives growing in my garden!  Cheesy
I'm not much of a gardener. Plus the hummingbirds love it.

OK, is anybody else in postal-limbo anxiety now? Why can't the USPS be instantaneous like email???

17  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Soap makers from portland oregon...help meeeee on: March 11, 2008 11:18:13 PM
It's possible that the Lowe's doesn't have that kind of lye around here because of our big meth problem! Even before they discontinued Red Devil lye it was getting hard to find because places weren't stocking it.

Wowsers, that never even occurred to me! Stoopid druggies. First they complicate my allergy season by making me go through layers of security to get my pseudoephedrine and now this. Can't they use stuff I don't need?  Wink
18  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Douglas Adams Swap (SIGNUP March 9-19 ; MAIL BY April 27, 2008) on: March 11, 2008 10:39:58 PM
Awww, rats. I'm already involved in my first swap or I'd totally be in on this one. Douglas Adams is my hero and also unintentionally did me a great favor. Before we met, my husband noticed me in a crowd of mutual friends because he overheard me mention an SEP field. Wink

...yeah by the time I send it will only be 3 weeks old. Probably safe to use, but it will be harder and milder with another couple weeks. I usually try to plan at least a 6 week cure when I do craft fairs.

Hahaha! I totally went through the same thing. I looked at the send date and then remembered back when I was ten and thought I'd wrap the Christmas cake I'd just baked for my mother and put it under the tree- a week before Christmas. I thought she's be surprised, and boy was she.  Grin
So I learned my lesson and there will be no real soap from me. (Sorry, Holliewood.) But I've got a couple M&P recipes I might try since I rarely get to play with the stuff.

Oh these are so cute! Nice work. I especially like the one with the yellow field topped by the pink center and the dragees. That one makes me feel like I'm five again just looking at it.  Cheesy
