Glad you liked it, Fullmoon! I figure the silk reading mat still fits in a 4" cube Tongue

I just got the most beautiful necklace from RainbowEndings! Here's a picture of it sprawled out on some of my knitting, because I can't seem to get a decent photo of me wearing it at the moment...

It's gorgeous, RainbowEndings! Beautiful work Smiley

Received! From Fullmoon! Smiley

One jingly, shiny bracelet Smiley To all of you, I give 2 not particularly good cellphone pictures...

Thanks so much, Fullmoon! It's beautiful.

Can someone remind me the next time I say "I need to take a picture outside in the morning" that that phrase works as a summoning spell for a twelve hour long thunderstorm with everything including hail? I don't know if anyone else is in the Boston area, but yesterday was ridiculous...

Anyhow, here's my bag for me. You'll note I have used the world's largest button (TM) as the closure on mine rather than a buckle. It's a sort of heathery red with purple highlights, none of which are visible in the photo.

Here's the needle holder glambastard made for me (for the Boyes interchangeable head knitting needle sets we both have). It's fabulous! I have eaten my camera cord, apparently, so I give you cell phone pictures. Ah well! I've used my fingers to demonstrate the wee pocket on the outside, and the lovely wee zippered case on the inside Smiley

When I've spent some quality time transferring all the bits to the new case, I'll put up another picture  Grin

Thanks glambastard! It's perfect, and incalculably cooler than the case this set came in!

5  Re: Flat Rate Fill-a-Box: New Years 2010: Send by 1/19/10 in The Swap Gallery by cat9 on: January 22, 2010 06:54:37 PM
I have received from tankrgrl! And the box was very, very packed Smiley

There are like a million small bits of quilting fabric, several different purse handles, a skein of chunky yarn, knitting patterns, bias tape, and some almost totally completed eye masks. (Which is awesome, as I just got a bunch of lavender in the mail, and was going to make a few.)

Thanks so much!

I received from SaccharineSunshine04 yesterday, and I've finally finished my game of "who hid the camera cord"!

There are like eight skeins of yarn, a whole bunch of ribbon (including a really beautiful piece that looks kinda victorian), a bag of fabulous buttons, and a whole stack of different little pieces of fabric. Thanks so much!

I got my angel package! And it's fabulous Smiley

She read that I love gardening and that earth is my favorite element...

So the first item is this beautiful garden stone, with leaves set into the top. I hope you can see them...

Next is a windchime, with a beautiful red/black glaze:

That's going to be hung on the japanese maple in our yard as soon as there's light Smiley

There's a tiny hurricane lamp with an etching of the moon and stars (that I hope you can see!)

(Also some fab leopard print and silver fabric used to wrap things, which I'm going to use for craftiness.)

And finally, two horrible pictures of four lovely pendants. The one that won't appear on film is a fairy...maybe she has her reasons Wink

Thanks so much bkrenning4! Everything's just beautiful.

8  Re: Friendship Granny Square Swap R11 (Mar) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by cat9 on: April 09, 2009 08:54:11 AM
It's official: I have the worst camera ever. That said, I have some fabulous squares here from dittybop:

They are, I swear to you, a fabulous rich red, not that strange neon color in person Smiley

Thanks dittybop!

I'm glad they got there in a reasonable amount of time Smiley  I feel like my squares always have that "I made these and then crammed them into an envelope" curly look Tongue

And here are my lovely squares from Indigo Roses:

I love the bottom left square - it reminds me of a pattern from a painted tile or something Smiley

I have no idea how many more I need... if it's going to be the size it is now, then two Wink

But I'll probably just keep going. These are the squares I've gotten through the rounds of this swap I've been in:

Ignore my dog...he just has to be involved in everything I do...
