1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Bunches O' Beanies. on: September 02, 2008 05:48:25 PM
i  have been making these hats like crazy now that its going to be winter time soon. because who doesnt love slouchy beanies[tams]?

this one reminds me of cherys and chocolate. yummy.

hobo hat? thats what everyone thinks when they see it. haha

this one is extra EXTRA slouchy and huge because i made it for a friend who has a MASSIVE amount of very thick dreads. so its gigantic.
this picture doesnt do it justice.
it stretches to an amazing length. i cant even describe. hahaha

i made this for the same person.
its called a dread cuff i guess? if im wrong. please correct me.

my hair looks uber nappy. yeah.

in the pictures this one looks purplish. and then brown? but really its jet black.
and as an extra.. there is some pieces of grass in it! [ on accident. i dropped it...ahha]

i just got this necklace. it is a glass mustache. because i have an obsession with mustaches. you can see it in that last picture. i am REALLY REALLY in love with it.
bonus shot.....

Tell me yo thoughts.
as usual.
thanksss for letting me waste your time.

nothing annoys me more than blurry pictures in my posts.
but i could not get any good pictures.
without glare or blur.
it has put  me in a terrible mood.

onto business.

These are made with wooooooood.
my favorite. you cant even see properly. but its a girl with tall blue hair.[ on the left of the blue mustache man]
again. my apologies for the sucky pictures.

these ones are made with poly clay.

i love the mustache lady!! she is my favorite
[ i have a weird mustache obsession]

here is a pair of earrings i am making from those little playing cards they sell at the dollar store. [not finished yet]

And A Frank Necklace That I ADORE. and so does everyone else i meet on the streets. hahah its one of my most popular. ahah

then. i got this really awesome little thing from my friend. its a face carved into an antler. so i had to display it proudly.
{blurrrrry!!! sorry again}

and just a boring ole beaded necklace i made with those little skeleton hands.

so there ya have it.
a few things i have been working on.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Waist Cincher? Skirts, A CRAP LOAD OF PICTURES on: August 25, 2008 12:11:53 PM
First off Is This leopard print dress i got a million years ago at red light or buffalo exchange. one of those i dont know.
but it was basically a very UNFLATTERING tube.
[Second picture]
i wanted a cute outfit to wear to a friends show tonight so i came up with this little waist cincher thing to wear with it.
i love it.
i can put it over anything and it looks cute.
i swear.
i also just bunched it a little at the bust. you cant really tell.

i didnt take a before picture show here it is on backwards. to show the boring shape. hah

i will admit that i got lazy and didnt want to sew on an extra eye on the hook eye part. so its missing one.
i will sew it on later. i just got tired of hand sewing. [ and i notice now that there is a stray string...]

Boooobs! Oh My!

side view..

Booooty Shot.

This Skirt isnt a recon, i just thought i would through it in . just a boring ole' circle skirt. i serged the bottom in white, cuz i thought it looked cool. im positive i am giving this away to a friend. im not to fond of it.

This Skirt Is Made Out Of a Bed Sheet And Some Lace I Had Laying Around.
I Am Making It Into A Dress, I Am Just an Eager Beaver And Wanted To Post It As A Skirt. hah
thats why it looks so crappy on the top.with all the extra lace and whatnot.

And here is My Rose City[pdx] Shirt i Picked up at red light. just slashed up the back. nothin' fancy.

and the back of that skirt is ACCIDENTLY a little high. my bad .

the end.
as always.
dont be scared to tell me how crappy it all looks.

thanks for lookin'

Edit* Can You Tell I Like Animal Print Yet? [Referring To Past Posts]

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Grannys Muu Muu Turned Sailor-y Goodness. on: July 30, 2008 02:14:12 PM
The Title Is Pretty Self Explanatory

Yesterday My Friend Let Me Go Through 5 whole Bags Of her unwanted clothes.
i ended up taking 2 whole big black garbage bags full.
It goes without saying that i got some pretty rad stuff.
one thing in particular was her grandmas old Mu mu.[sp?]
she laughed when i said i would take it.. and thought i was joking.
but i was determined to show her it IS possible to turn something like this into something cute.
whether i succeeded... you be the judge.

I will admit when i started i had absolutely no intension's of it being a sailor girl dress.
i tailored it to fit me
and once it was time to add some stuff.  i couldn't think of anything else
because it reminded me so much of a sailor dress.
pretty positive it was the color. i dont know but
this dress was born.
its still not done.
its missing something up top?
i want to trim the sleeves and bottom with white
but ughh what else?

[Almost] Finished Product:

With A Petticoat[ And sailor pose.. Smiley ]

best picture i have that shows appliqu:

The Before: [i didnt think to take a before until i had already turned it inside out and altered it to fit. soo.. sorry]

soo it started as an XL mu mu that went down to my knees.the part around the neck was filled with a fluffy cotton batting.
haha it was awesommeeee

so there you have it.
my real quick project.
like it?
any ideas on what else it needs?

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I Love Dick Tracy..BUT I HATE ADDING ZIPPERS! :( Help? on: July 28, 2008 01:19:09 PM
Ello ello ello!
so i have been a busy little bee this last week or two
i have been craftin' like crazy non stop last week
and only left the house to get more craftin stuff.
yes Micheal's was having a KILLER sale.
you know i went down and spent an unnecessarily high amount.
AND Hancock fabrics. 50% off everything.
man, i couldn't get enough.

here is a few of the clothing items i have made

[i know this should go in the recon section, but really.
i dont think sheets count. seeing as its basically just fabric..]

This Is the first dress i have ever made, i did it with out patterns. and just kind of winged it. so i am unbeleivably proud of it.
i wore it out yesterday and got so many compliments it was insane.
its made out of this dick tracy bedsheet i got at value village.
hooray Value village!
so here she is..

this Skirt. i think its ugly.
im gunna be honest.
it makes me look weird.
but what can ya do? so i will not be keeping it, however i did wear it once and everyone liked it.... perhaps they were just being nice.

and this skirt is basically an EXACT replica of this dress i have.
i just recreated it for my friend  WHO IS A TWIG.
size 1.
she discusts me.
we are both thinking it needs straps and 2 Big Buttons. to become  a pinafore., we'll see what you guys think..

my first pencil skirt.
again, just kind of winged it.
i just layed on the fabric and traced around my body.
aha ugh i was having some majour trouble with the stretchy fabric and the zipper.
and suggestions? the fabric and  zipper are all bubbly? thats not the word.. ughh. you no like ehhh never mind. its just messed up.
my favorite is the pretty lace at the bottom Smiley

sooooo thanks for lookin.
and as allways C&C welcome.
oh and suggestions!
and help of course,
what the hell do i do about the zipper?!?!

thank yaaaa

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Trashy Bats. Plus A Rat. on: July 17, 2008 08:44:43 PM
its me again.
i dont really know how to explain this... other than..
i remember seeing someone wearing something similar a bajillion years ago and just thought about making one yesterday.

so i just cut up an ugly really old over sized hoodie
and decided it should have bats on it.
because, well.
i like bats.

then i thought.
hey.. why not advertise as well.
Trash it is..

so heres pictures.

[ Im pretty scummy, ill admit]

My Rat Wanted to get in on some of the picture taking action.
he does love the camera..

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Im Thick. So I Wear Tiger Tights To Make It Odvious. on: July 16, 2008 11:55:53 PM
Sooooo I was walking around walmart yesterday with my friend and i was telling her how i wanted to find a cool animal print [ zebra, leopard mainly] and just when i had said that,
i came across the most obnoxiously fabulous Tiger Print.
thats right.
Tiger Print.

In All My Fabric shopping days, i will admit, i had never seen a tiger print as glorious as this.
i immediately decided i must have it.

Im standing around with my friend waiting for the lady to cut it for me and im trying to brain storm ideas.
i mean, what would i want to make with tiger print?
[i have a hard time using awesome fabrics(dont want to ruin it]

and then i remembered a post from Sapphire_distortion and her friend was wearing these wicked awesome leopard print tights.

the idea for tiger print tights was born.
my friend thought i was crazy.
but my mind was set.
so i get home.
Tiger Print Tights!

i do love them.
even if they make my legs look EVEN MORE like sausages.

sorry about the long story.
i love typing and i do get carried away.

onto the photo.

ughh... my skirt is riding up.
i dont usually wear skirts that short....

just so ya know... hahah

HORRIBLE Image Qualtiy. i apologize. my good camera is currently lent out to a friend.... weird speckles on the lense? sorry about that.
and, that ugly pink floyd skirt was the first article of clothing i had ever made.
that was 4 years ago.

Taa Daaaa
so what do ya think?
im quite happy about them.
i showed them to my friend and she just about pooped her pants.
ahahahhahahahaha Grin

Side View AND weird Pose. [ 2 in 1] hah

they are stretchy and go all the way down to my ankles.
the top has a black elastic band around it to hold it up.
you get the drift..

im just really into crazy stuff.
i dunno.

feel free to tell me how hideous they are.
i wont be offended.
promise Wink
