Yes!!  Likey!!  You did awesome!  I love everything.  And your daughter is cuter than cute!
Earlier this evening I was eying a skirt I have that has never fit well and I've never been able to find a top to match it- thinking 'Hhhmmmm, that looks an awful lot like a little girls' summer dress....'    As a matter of fact, I need to reevaluate many of my skirts.  I'm a big girl so there would be plenty of fabric for something cute.

Thank you, you got my brain sparkin' into life!   Hoohoooo  I feel a recon comin' on.  LOL Grin

So CUTE!!  You are so creative!  The deer is adorable, it makes the dress.  Awesome job!

The 'model' didn't seem in the mood to be photographed at that moment.  LOL

Thank you!

As for the neckline.....I know it looks plain but I thought I'd buy her a pretty necklace.  That will go a long way to sprucing up her neckline.   Yeah?  Smiley

I am making some fancy dresses for my girls this month and this is my first one finished.  Well, almost finished.  LOL  I just have to hem the lining skirt.  No biggie!  But I wanted to post the pics anyway.   Cheesy

The main color is not pink, as it looks in the pic.  It's a dusty lilac (if that makes sense) and the overlay/sheer is slightly purple w/ white polka dots.  It has a shimmery sheen to it.  I am happy with how it came out.  And I'll hem the last of it v. soon.  LOL  Oh, and I need to get a hook/eye above the zipper.

What do you think??    Grin

It turned out so beautiful.  You should definitely be proud to say you've made it.  It looks so professional.  I love the color and the little pop of red is a nice touch.  And you are very beautiful too!   Grin

Wow!  You do amazing work.  I am so impressed with how beautiful your creations come out.  I can't say enough about these two dresses.  The fabric, the colors, the style, the pattern, the buttons, the MODEL.  Where did you get the pattern?  If you don't mind sharing.....
318  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Fashion Checkbook Clutch from Amy Butler's book on: February 12, 2008 02:46:49 PM
That is so cool!!  I really love it.  It holds everything in one place w/out being over stuffed.  I have problems with my wallets always being tight and hard to close.  And I don't have a lot in them.  This is perfect!!   And I love the colors you chose.   I'm all about bright and crazy.  So I looove the inside pink.  Cheesy

This is awesome!  I've seen so many beautiful appliqued things and while I love how they look, I wasn't sure how to do it.  Thank you so much for this tut!  It's something that I'm definitely going to do.  Just need to get the right foot and lots more thread.  Oh, and wonder-under and something to applique on and.....alright so I'm not quite ready to dive in.  But I will!  Soon!!

Thank you again.  You rock!!!
