Details of swap:
Hey zinesters! The 14-day zine is back!

The idea is simple - choose a theme, and produce a zine about it within 14 days (that includes shipping your zine out)! Zines can vary in length, size and content - it's all up to you!

Sounds simple enough?

So send me your suggested themes, and I will collate them on a list and post them on this board!  At the end of the sign-up period, just choose a theme that you like best and run with it! Do suggest themes that are wide open to interpretation, like love, colour or music.. You get the idea. Smiley

NOTE - You will have to send your zine to the other 9 participants in the swap. It shouldn't cost much even when shipping overseas, since zines are pretty light. I will also update the information of the participant's countries as we go along.

Have fun!

Edited to add: When the swap is over, I will be adding your feedback  with the following comments.
Good communication - You PMed me after you sent your zines out, or if you PMed me before early on that would be sending it out late.
Poor communication - You failed to do either, and I had to PM you to find out your swap status.
Sent before deadline
Sent after deadline, with good communication
Sent after deadline, with poor comunication

3  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Boy oh boy, a Boy beanie for the boy! on: February 09, 2007 12:16:19 AM
My first boy beanie cap from the book! Made by using 'boy' colours, or rather, not the colours I would have preferred to use, like pink and purple. Heh!

I'm not sure why my boyfriend is squinting and looking so upset, though. I can only hope it's because he isn't wearing his glasses. Smiley

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Yeah, whatever! on: December 10, 2006 12:45:35 AM
My favourite phrase, now immortalised in kitschy glory! Also my 4th completed subversive cross-stitch pattern! Smiley

5  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Sushi pillowcases that have been found! on: November 12, 2006 07:41:21 AM
I embroidered two pillowcases for my boyfriend after I received the fantastic SS sushi patterns from fellow craftster alwaysinmyroom. (Thanks linda!)

But I sent out my parcel to America five weeks ago and my boyfriend hasn't received these pillowcases yet! In my swap experience, parcels to the US of A usually take a week or two weeks max, to get to the receiptant..

I'm guessing that it's been lost en route, or some postal worker saw my declaration form and decided that he/she was in need of some new pillowcases...

I'm just assuming that we'll never see these pillowcases again. But on to the photos! Smiley

Edited on 4th of Dec to include:

My boyfriend received it! It finally reached its destination after like what, 7 or 8 weeks?

But thank you for all your lovely thoughts! I'm certain all the positive craftsters energy was what got the postal service off its ass and actually start working for a change. Smiley

Mmmmm, crabstick sushi!

Buckwheat soba noodles! Gotta love them when its eaten cold and with a raw quail egg!

The Chinese word is 'Yang', or goat. A nickname on my boyfriend's chinese name..

Who doesn't love sushi!?

Fishy fishy fishy..

Okay, thanks for looking guys!

The idea is simple. Craft for somebody without letting your swap partner know who you are. After that, you reveal yourself in the swap gallery -- but only after Christmas!

Here's round one, which had a couple of mail-out dates.
