22  Tokidoki shark in Needlework: Completed Projects by drinkdrankdrunk on: June 09, 2008 09:01:53 PM
I was super bored today and thought I'm practice a little bit of needlework. I have a very cheap potato cloth from the dollar tree that I've been trying random things on and today I made a shark I REALLY like... but now I don't know what to do with it. Anyway, it's not the best because I'm pretty new to this, but I think it cute!

Dun-nuh....duh-nuh....duh-nuh (CUTE SHARK!!!)

(the pin at the bottom is the org. picture, an awesome Tokidoki sharky)

Let me know what you think!

23  Mother's day gift *F-bomb warning* in Needlework: Completed Projects by drinkdrankdrunk on: June 09, 2008 08:53:24 PM
So I was low on cash but wanted to do something fun for my mommy for Mother's day, so I thought I'd make her a little bit of cross stitchin' action! We get along great and I knew that although it was my first attempt at this since I was seven, she would enjoy it no matter what! (kind of like a 5 year old making a bunch of skribbles and it being hung as a work of art Wink)

but...there are:

so here it is:

I did my best! And It took me forever. I got the idea from all the sassy stitch things, but made up the saying and "pattern"...not that it's really a pattern.  Cheesy

Anywho! Tell me what ya think!

24  Painted scrap book in Completed Projects by drinkdrankdrunk on: April 30, 2008 06:37:38 PM
I made this for the LV swap. It's not due for a bit but I found the book on sale for $5.00 at target and couldn't pass up the cheapness! My little friend is of French decent but came from New York... so I painted the light blue book with red paint to give it that 'French' look.

The taping:

The drying:

The completed product!:

The 'H' is for Hammy!
I hope this is the right place, I always get so confused... Anywho- tell me what you think!

26  Re: Little Visitor Swap Round 8 (CLOSED! ; April 19 & June 21) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by drinkdrankdrunk on: April 14, 2008 07:36:45 PM
My Galvin has been acting odd as well...

He keeps thinking that when he travels, he needs to pack like me!

But he doesn't even wear make-up.

Then he was practically glued to my coffee maker, wondering where he'll get his jolt...

and his hello kitty.

In the end, he's just so antsy that he has...

taken to drinking. But that's ok, at least he's a top shelf boy.

It's all good though, he's soo excited!

27  *wonkey scarf* (first scarf and it looks it!) in Knitting: Completed Projects by drinkdrankdrunk on: April 06, 2008 11:29:46 PM
So about a year ago when my boy-oh was over seas I thought it would be cute if I learned to knit (cute because I made a lot of jokes about what I'd do when he was gone and "knit alone in the dark" was on the top of my list Wink) so I started a scarf!

It wasn't looking too hot and I never got myself to sit and do it so it was all over the place, but i the last two days at work I finally finished it!

The wonk:

The left side is the super beginner area and the right side is the... hey I'm slightly better area. (really?!?!?! I thought you've been doing this for YEARS!)

Me action shot:

the boy-oh (not as excited as I was):

Alright, there that is. Hope you enjoyed it and I also hope maybe it gave you a little giggle, I know I'm gigglen'! Cheesy

I'm all set to go and VERY excited!!! So, now that I'm in the clear I shall post pictures of my dear Galvin... He's a rocken' dino...and enjoys your fingers?.

He's a little guy at only 5 inches:

He doesn't like to compete:

But he does like my fishy!:

and he'll let you walk him around:

Thanks for checking him out! He's excited to explore!

29  Little Sad Kitty Pillow Monster in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by drinkdrankdrunk on: April 02, 2008 02:21:42 AM
I was bored tonight and was thinking about the LV swap, which would be my first one, and thought I'd make a little friend to send out.

The only problem is, I don't think she's strong enough to handle a swap, but that's ok! She was fun and simple to make.

back:

Clearly not the best made but also clearly pissed about something, so I think it all works out!

*comments welcome!*

30  Domo Ipod Cozy... That's right, ANOTHER ONE! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by drinkdrankdrunk on: March 30, 2008 11:26:45 PM
Sooo. I've seen like 20,000 of these and I wanted to make one for my brother out in Iraq! I have no idea if he needs one (I know he has an Ipod, but does he need it to be cozy? Who knows?!?) but I do know that he likes silly things with faces, so I think this will work out for him.

I know his eyes should just be black lil' dots... but I was sleepy at the time, and it was my first time really working with felt, so at least I have that!

***I welcome comments and criticism!***
