I *love* sailboats.... do you think you have enough to line a purse? How much would you guess is there? Less than a yard?

Ever see some really awesome fabric, buy it, and then have no clue what to make with it?

I've had these two fabrics lying around for ages and don't know what to do with them... any thoughts?

If anyone else has some fabric they need ideas for, feel free to share!

I have 1 1/2 yards of this fabric:

I have 3 yards of this fabric:

What would YOU do with them? I sifted through tons of patterns and I'm still uninspired  Cry.

KatDr5, you are SO lucky to see Cat Power. God, I love her to death.... hopefully I can see her someday soon...

Here are the stencils. I just made them fooling around in Photoshop... not too bad...

I hope they show up. Geocities is weird about bandwith. If not they should show up soon... sorry  Embarrassed

Enjoy the show though! It should be awesome!

15  mixed media (?) stencil of me and b/f in Stenciling: Completed Projects by geeyouknit on: March 09, 2005 08:44:16 PM
I'm *extremely* new to stenciling.... I wanted to try something different so I cut out my stencil of simply the outside of the picture, then I drew in the insides a bit with sharpie and painted a little with glittery-black paint.

I hope it looks okay, I was hoping for some opinions on it. I like the way it came out.

(the flash made this look a bit funky but oh well....)

from afar:

Thanks!

16  Cursive/Pretty Girls Make Graves tees in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by geeyouknit on: September 13, 2004 06:05:42 PM
I took two shirts I already had and made them into a Cursive tee and a Pretty Girls Make Graves tee... I basically ironed on the pictures of Tim and Andrea and then on the Cursive one I sewed on the star mesh and on the PGMG one I sewed on random patches of color.

The photos aren't the clearest....
