I was spoiled rotten  Cheesy.

Sorry for the delay in posting photos... I have plenty of excuses that I won't waste your time with.

First, I received from javede in Germany:

What you see:
-a tshirt
-a brooch made by javede herself in germany's colors  Kiss
-rebecca magazine and blond magazine (a very interesting mag, reminds me of bust)
-Fanta4 and Mix-CD
-Candy (or what's left of it  Roll Eyes), includes Ritter Sport!

Then I got a parcel from trillian:

What you see:
-a moomin chocolate surprise egg (its huge!)
-2 moomin postcards
-a moomin pillowcase
-a tin moomin box with dumle  Grin candy inside! (ive almost devoured them all)
-a little my mug
-the first moomin book
-2 dumle crunch bars (1 left now...)
-1 dumle chocolate bar (it was big... i promised i would make it last but alas, its gone)
-2 mignon eggs- these are from a finnish easter tradition, chocolate and nougat poured into a real egg shell! best chocolate ever!
-2 littly my dish towels
-moomin biscuits
-5 pieces of moomin vanilla liqourice
-moomin gum and candy
-moomin bandaids !!!  Shocked

Thank you so much javede and trillian! The end of April was getting rough for me and you both brightened it!  Kiss Kiss Kiss

3  Re: Post Secret Swap Round II in The Swap Gallery by geeyouknit on: October 18, 2005 08:11:15 AM
I received for October the other day, but because of a misunderstanding with my boyfriend, I didn't realize he was talking about the October swap and I thought he was just reminding me that I had one from September lying around on the desk. Ok all that aside, I'm sorry partner for not posting sooner, here is the secret I got:

Sorry for the crappy pic, I could not get a good one. The text says "i'm hard to love"
I really understood this one, because I feel that way too. For a long time I thought I was incapable of being loved because of how picky and weird I am. Thanx for your secret, I definately connect with you!

I agree so much! I am so beyond picky...

hello all,

i recieved my card today.

here it is.

i made it large so it would be ledgible. i didn't want to transcribe it because the context seems important - the way the words are punctuated...and the star.

thank you so much for sharing your secret.

it brightened my day in a strange sort of way.

This is by far one of the most touching.

I received yesterday:

The postcard says "I starve myself. I tell myself- I'm too busy to eat. I'm full when I'n not. I'll wait til later. Like right now, I'm so hungry, but I'm going to wait til later."

Thank you so much, partner, for sharing. I myself can sort of relate, but not to a large extent.  Undecided
Thank you for having the courage to share.

This isn't the postcard that freaked my roommate out though. The one that bothered her was from postcard-x.net

I hope I don't get left out of any good secrets because of my roommates silly qualms   Cry.

I picked my package up from the post office!  The guys at work thought it was cool Grin  Geeyouknit sent it to me from Richmond Virginia or RVA.  She sent me a tour map of Hollywood Cemetary, menus for Carytown Burgers & Fries and the Galaxy Diner, bumper stickers from Carytown Burgers & Fries, Plan 9 Music, and two from Exile, a matchbook from Carytown Burgers & Fries (this is making me hungry), a card from The Byrd, two cd/dvd/vhs/etc. shrinkwrap openers (one from Tower Records, the other from Plan 9 Music), a handmade mini scrap booklet of Richmond, and a snowglobe of Hollywood Cemetary complete with ghosts!  There was also the comics page of the newspaper lining the box, which I also found enjoyable!
Here are my pics.  Apparently, the original snowglobe broke... geeyouknit can probably tell more... but I like this one!

Holy crap! Yeah, the orginial did break, I'll have to post pics of what it did look like later.... it was a ton bigger, but upon inspection... did this one get messed up too? Is that the confederate monument I see floating around? It was supposed to be glue down!!!! Oh boy, I'm sorry if it got messed up in the mail, I was worried that might happen. I tried to package it so it wouldn't and I even marked it as Fragile. What could have happened? ERRRR.

I got my package from Jazzybelle yesterday!

She sent me this Vegas hooker barbie! It has a hand knit outfit, boa, and a lower back tat!! Haha! It's cute!:

Then she sent me this bowl made out of TV Guides and CYS flyers (awesome colors!), a pin from a local thrift shop and seashells!:

In my haste (or more like my boyfriend's... I was using his camera and he was pulling on my arm because he needed a ride to the VCU financial aid office) I forgot to take a picture of the bottle of sand and water (really cool! I'm guessing it's from the Pacific Ocean (correct me if I'm wrong, Jazzy, but I guessed so since you are from LA), I've never been there, so it's cool to have a piece of it in my room!) and a seashell necklace (that I am wearing).

I really love my package! Thanks Jazzybelle!
