11  I'm making a baby blanket in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by rizzleraz on: February 02, 2008 10:39:07 PM
I got this yarn for christmas and I started making a bag with it, then after I was frustrated with the bag pattern, I switched to making a baby blanket. I still need to get another skein to finish. I think it looks great so far. I want to add some sort of border when I'm done, but I can't decide... Any suggestions. Also, the picture makes the edge look wavy, but I don't think it looks like that in person.

And just in case any of you are wondering, here is a true representation of the colors.

12  AMIGURUMI CACTUAR (from Final Fantasy games) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by rizzleraz on: December 24, 2007 12:53:50 AM

Inside holds a one of a kind cactuar, named Meester Peekle, complete with 1,000 needles! (for my older sister)

Oh snaps! I just noticed that I cut off the spikes on his head in the picture. He has the three spikes on his head like the reference pic does. I  think that's what makes him cute.
For reference here's what they look like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Cactuar.png

And I apologize for the bad webcam photos, my camera is still being held hostage.

13  Re: Pretty Puff Slouchy Hat UPDATE: Pattern added in Crochet: Completed Projects by rizzleraz on: December 21, 2007 07:03:28 PM
I did mine. I stuck to the pattern and used Red heart Plush in dark purple. It's not the best yarn, but it turned out to be soft and pretty. This is definitely the coolest thing I've ever made. TY for the pattern.
Sorry for the bad pics, I had to use my sister's camera because my nice, new one is  being held hostage until Monday.
One pic of hat on me.

And two trying to get the detail, but I still can't see it. I think the texture of the yarn overrules the puff stitch detail sometimes.

14  christmas presents! (maybe image heavy) in Crochet: Completed Projects by rizzleraz on: December 15, 2007 10:12:40 PM
So I'm making all my christmas presents for people this year because I think it's better than buying them things they'll never use. None of these are original, most of them you will probably recognize.
Soccer Hat for my little sister.

DS Case for my friend, Daniel. Modeled by my always attractive pink DS lite.

Pig with wings for one of my  best friends. When I saw this pattern, I thought of her.

And a Lamb for my other best friend, who is directing a one act play called The Diary of Adam and Eve, I also play the part of the funny lamb in this play.

I still have more to do, but this is all I have finished right now. Thanks for looking. Cheesy
