2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Feather hair clip on: February 23, 2009 07:40:00 AM
My friend is having a black and white themed wedding and I wanted something to jazz up my outfit.  Inspired by Threadbangers, here is my first attempt:

It was much easier than I expected.  It's not perfect and I might add some buttons to it or make another one to have choices, but I like the outcome.

Just wanted to share!
3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / My first quilt, finally completed! (Lots o' pics!) on: June 16, 2008 09:47:31 AM
I am so excited, I finally, FINALLY finished my first quilt this weekend!  It was supposed to be  a present for my daughter's 2nd birthday, it's about 3 months late...I started it in December 07 and have been working on it whenever I have time, which isn't often.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, even though there are a ton of mistakes.  She loves it, so that's really all that matters!

Very nice, great job.  I have high hopes of making one of these eventually, once I finish all of my current projects.  I'd like to do this one and the Weekender.

Love the color!
