22  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Feed A Cold: What to eat for cold/flu/allergies/sinus pressure on: June 05, 2011 09:04:02 PM
I think the best food for congestion is chile. Not chili the soup thing but actually chile the veggie (fruit? it has seeds...). Probably any spicy food is good though.
23  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Oh my gee, it's Onigiri! on: June 05, 2011 08:59:08 PM

25  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Polenta fries ... move over French fried potatoes! on: June 05, 2011 08:54:01 PM
I'm a huge french fry fan.

Actually I'm a huge anything potato fan...

Nevertheless, these look great. How does polenta taste? I've never heard of it before.
26  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Baked Onion Rings (Extra Crispy) on: June 05, 2011 08:48:53 PM
I often get food cravings, not because I'm pregnant that's just the way I am (much to the amusement/frustration of my fiance). Onion rings are up there on the list of food I most often crave. I'm definitely going to try to make these next time. Thanks!

30  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Knit Shorts to inartia or duplicate stitch? on: September 19, 2010 10:39:11 PM
So..I'm right now planning on knitting my halloween costume this year. (Wonder woman, and yes I see it's been done but that's okay)

I'm planning on starting with some little shorts (these:http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer04/PATT1930.html) which will be blue with white stars. My question is would it be best to duplicate stitch the white stars afterwards (which would require less planning) or so I do some inartia knitting (which would make the shorts less bulky). What would you do?

Thanks for the feedback!
