3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: I'm so in love with this dress it hurts - need help! on: March 09, 2008 05:50:08 AM
yea i vote go to a seamstress but i dont think id personally feel comfortable handing my wedding dress money over to a student....but the seamstress im sure could give you an estimate.  it wont be a ebay dress price but hey its better than $4,000. Plus if ur dying to have it and its one of those things you'll regret passing over on your wedding day why not spend the extra money on something so important to you.

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: eco-craftalong on: February 25, 2008 03:19:14 AM
That sounds like a wonderful eco crafting day. Please if you can, post some pictures of those lavender bags for produce. I must try those.
Sorry it took me so long.  Just some tulle cut in a rectangle and sewn up on the sides.  Exactly how I make fabric gift bags  Grin  I set my stitch length really tight (I think on 20 stitches per inch) just b/c of the tiny holes in the tulle.  I don't know if I needed to.

There is one large one, for lettuce and such, on the left.  Then 3 smaller ones on the right and one holding the oranges

In use:
oh what a good idea...i always feel guilty using those lil baggies and i kept thinking there has to be something better! and there is!
