Those are beautiful...we had custom cabinets put in when we built our house 11 years ago and I'd never do it again! Too much money and I feel like I'm forever stuck with "blah" oak cabinets.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Need suggestions for a new top for my glass end tables on: October 09, 2008 11:09:22 AM
We have beautiful end tables and a cocktail table that is made out of brownish/bronze type metal with a very thick piece of glass as the top. They look nice, but I am so tired of cleaning the glass  Roll Eyes  plus it's time for something different! The glass lifts off very easily and something could be set back on it; I just need some suggestions. A friend recommended trying to find scrap pieces of granite or marble, which would be great, but most "scrap" pieces are too small. When I got prices on both marble or granite for the right size, I might as well buy new tables.... Shocked   Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks...
