1  I am so proud of these cuties!..*pic heavy* in Needlework: Completed Projects by craftydebs on: July 20, 2010 01:08:33 AM
I am totally in love with these but the last 3 are my favorites. They are all my original designs and cut out freehand, no patterns were used. I made these with the idea that I will put them on hair clips, with a felt backing of course to make them more stable and nicer looking.  I am not yet positive that I will, but most likely.

I did an edit to this because I totally forgot to mention the size.  They are about an inch and 3/4 wide.  Not tiny, but a good size for hair clips or magnets.
Thanks for looking!

2  Re: Lovely vintage magnets, girls in swimsuits! *updated photo* in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by craftydebs on: July 15, 2010 04:08:14 PM
As promised here is the final product.  I knew there would be some glare and I'm glad I did take some shots before the varnish.  You can see that a few edges are not perfect and bit of brush strokes too, but I think it adds to the charm  Grin.

I love them so much!  Thanks you guys for all of the compliments.  I would love to see yours if you try this out.

3  Re: One Tiny Sea Creature in The Swap Gallery by craftydebs on: July 14, 2010 12:55:04 PM
This is so super cute and looks like it would be pretty easy to make!  And I love the idea of a severed unicorn head, how awesome is that?

I love all of the sea creatures!!  I finally have a photo of the lovely little sea horse Doyouloveanapple sent me!

Isn't he adorable??  Right now he's hanging out with my severed unicorn head on my makeup mirror.  I should start a collection of mounted animal magnets!

Thank you Doyouloveanapple!!  I love it!

4  Lovely vintage magnets, girls in swimsuits! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by craftydebs on: July 13, 2010 12:50:14 AM
I found this paper today at my local craft store and fell for it right away.  Since it is split into sections my first thought was magnets.  So I bought a sheet of sticky backed magnet and went to town.  I am very please with the result.  The edges could have been better but for a first time effort I think they are ok.

I will probably varnish them so they can be wiped off and to help make them more durable, but I didn't want the glare to get in the way of the pics, so they are unfinished....and yes I need to improve my photography skills Grin.

All of the images are lovely but I picked out the 6 of women in swimsuits that also happen to all be the same size, so they make a perfect set.

5  Sweet lil' zebra print needle book in Needlework: Completed Projects by craftydebs on: July 12, 2010 06:16:09 AM
Just a very simple little needle book I stitched up as part of gifts for a friends bday:

6  Hard to believe it was ever blue! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by craftydebs on: July 12, 2010 06:12:09 AM
I am super, duper happy with this recon job.  Someone recently gave me a wallet that I really liked except for the color.  So a few coats of acrylic paint later, tada!

The paint went onto the leather so well.  It seem pretty durable and so far no cracks.  I don't want to put a finish on it til I see how it wears, since I prefer it matte and don't care for any shine at all.

7  Photo board, from drab to fab! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by craftydebs on: July 02, 2010 03:44:31 AM
Well probably more like dingy that drab, but that doesn't rhyme!  This belonged to my daughter who was done with it and it was pretty gross!  So it was a pretty easy recon and I am very happy with the results.  I tried to get a pic of it in use but my camera died. Anyways....

Before, EWH!

And the end result.  The pink bling on it is much blingier in person (is that a word? Wink):

8  Robot love! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by craftydebs on: July 02, 2010 03:08:49 AM
Just like the title says, I do love robots.  I have been wanting to make one for a while and I am sure this will not be my last one.  I just love him!  Hope you guys like him too!

Before he got all shined up:

And here he is all finished up, he is not perfect and I can see where I missed a spot.  So he will be getting a second coat:

9  Cutie Frutie! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by craftydebs on: July 02, 2010 02:47:16 AM
This is a few years old now but I'm just now getting around to getting pics taken of it.  I did my best to clean it up and it's kinda dusty.  It is one of the first things I made with PC.  I don't have any actual tools, so the stuff I do is pretty basic.  Anyways, hope you like it!

10  My super cute birdie and a few other things in Needlework: Completed Projects by craftydebs on: June 30, 2010 06:19:00 PM
I hope it is ok that I post these here since I had already posted them in jewelry and trinkets.  It just occur ed to me that they might better belong here.  I am new to stitching and really like to just make what comes to mind.  I adore felt so that is what I used to make these little goodies.

I made the stuffed birdie into a pin for my daughter's girlfriend.  We both loved it!

This wallet, which we both happen to own inspired me:

Just for fun I make some Kawaii food:

This little heart is also stuffed, my own design and I love it!
