I knit this sweet cupcake hat for my two year old.  I got the pattern free from nakedsheep.com (although the link doesn't seem to be working)
I have very limited knitting abilities but this was very easy.  The sprinkles are bugle beads

This is my first attempt at these bracelets.  They are pretty easy once you get the hang of it.  I used swarovski crystals and seed beads.  My two year old is my model.  I think next time i will use a more delicate looking clasp for the skinnier bracelets

I made 2 signs for my yard out of door shims, molding, paint, scrapbook paper and stickers.  I modge podged everything on, and then sprayed them with a few coats of sealer.

I recently re-did my screen room that is off the kitchen in the back of my house.  I wanted a patriotic theme.  I painted the bottom half blue and the top half white.  I used buntings as valances and some store bought accessories to spruce it up and my husband put down a new indoor/outdoor carpet. It's not 100% done but I am pretty happy with it so far.

I have been looking for something unique to do with the staircase in my house.  I was originally thinking of using tiles on the risers...but I'm a little too lazy for that.  Then I saw this...http://www.doorsixteen.com/2008/09/03/wallpapered-stair-risers/ and I fell in love.  That wallpaper is by ferm living and is approx. $115.00 a roll...crazy!  So I searched around and found something similar for 30 bucks.  2 hours later my stairs were done!  I'm pretty happy with them.  Here is the before:

My daughter had her sweet sixteen a few weeks ago.  Her colors were silver and black and her theme was a rock music type of theme.  So instead of place cards I made backstage passes for everyone to wear and instead of numbering the tables she named the tables after bands.  I thought it was cool because after the party you could use the pass to hold your school ID or work Id.  My dad made a board to hang all the passes on.  I made the guitar centerpieces and put the band names on them with my cricut paper cutter.  I also made bags for her V.I.P gifts with my cricut and I made bags for my V.I.P...(yes, I had V.I.P too) We bought shirts for her V.I.P that had a tuxedo prited on the front and said "Francesca's Sour 16" on the back.  I made my V.I.P shirts with iron on transfer paper I printed. The favors were rock candy that I wrapped in clear bags with ribbons.  And my daughter being the rock star that she is, is not a dress wearing type of gal, so she opted for a nice vest over a guess shirt I got on clearance and some cool silver combat boots.  I did however force her to get her hair done, but just a simple french braid in front like Jennifer Aniston had at this years oscars...ok, nuff said...on to the pics

They're for my Daughter...she's not your typical girlie girl.  She's cool.

In our old house the master bedroom was bigger and I had a loft to use as my craft room.  In my new house, we have more room overall but the master bedroom is smaller and the new baby claimed my craft room as her bedroom (selfish baby)!  So I gave away my  awesome but huge furniture to a friend and I redecorated after many trips to Ikea (God, I love that store).  Our closet is very small and pretty useless for clothes so I got wardrobes instead and changed the closet into a craft space.
Enough talk...I still have some work left to do on it (like change those fancy paper shades), but here are some pics of what I did so far.

This is my daughter, Veronica.

this is my first ever attempt at a bag.  I used the famous Jordy tutorial.  This was also my first encounter with interfacing and i think I purchased and used the wrong kind.  My bag is very "crispy" for lack of a better word and it also wrinkles easily.  It's a shame too since I really love the fabric.  I'm wondering if I throw it in the wash if it would soften up??  Any ideas??
