so i've been wanting to make a dress like this for a while but couldn't think of what colors to put together.... then it hit me..... SCHOOL COLORS!!! so here's what i came up with. i got the idea from a book called "T-Shirt Makeovers" it has a bunch of cute recons to make... check it out. enjoy! comments are greatly appreciated.

so i got a barack shirt from my school just to cut it up. i was gonna just do a tunic but then i decided to keep the length and turn it into a dress. here's what i came up with. enjoy! comments are greatly appreciated Smiley thanx for looking

using this tute http://community.livejournal.com/t_shirt_surgery/4942517.html#cutid1 i came up with this. my friend gave me his old shirt to use and i made the plain blue shirt from a small michael's t-shirt. comments are greatly appreciated. thank you for looking. ENJOY!

so i'm on a latin dance team at my school and my choreographer asked me to make skirts for the tango dance that were inspired by the skirt in take the lead. i used the tute from whatthecraft.com for circle skirts and the waist band. so this is what i came up with. comments are greatly appreciated  Smiley thanx for looking! so i used the contour bust and circle skirt (variation 3) tutorials from whatthecraft.com and made this fabulous dress just in time for spring Smiley sorry about the bra straps. comments are greatly appreciated. thanx for looking! Smiley

i thought this wasn't gonna turn out right but i'm actually kinda really happy with how it turned out  Smiley lemme know what you think. the weaving on the side was inspired by a design in 99 ways to cut, sew, trim, and tie you t-shirt into something special.

i'm a beginner but these are some of the first shirts i made. i got the idea for most of these from Generation T and one of them from T-shirt Makeovers. also, most of them are from scratch.











this is an old American Eagle shirt that i didn't wear anymore... but now i love it!  Grin


my sister's friend designed the shirt... i just reconstructed it
