hey Heidi, hope you can make it next time! The first meeting last Sat went great. There were about 8 people but a bunch planned on coming but couldn't make it but will be there next month. We just all sat at a table and chatted about our art sharing ideas and showing off our portfolios. I am so excited for next time! lol

7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Pictures of craft fair setup - Please post! on: January 23, 2008 01:48:44 PM
Wow awesome ideas here! Here are some pics of my displays. My dad made me a wooden backboard heres what he did for it. He made 3 large squares and framed them then added legs to each and the hindged them together so it would fold. then i stapled black fabric to it. we used baskets on the tables to show off prints and other merch. we used boxed covered by fabric to add lvls. I used a dry erase board to tell our daily specials and sales. I also took fancy frames took out the glass added backing and nice fabric over the frame back and used it to pin jewelry to. In one other i added ribbons across the front to clip bookmarks too Smiley

here is a small craft art show in indpls, in,  Im on the right and my friend is on the left we are both artists and split the area.

This is faeriecon2007 in PA, Everything of mine got smushed onto a table and a half cause of the girl sitting next to me. ugh long story lol.
