1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Owl Pendant Necklace on: January 03, 2011 06:55:55 PM

This is my favorite necklace! My Grandmother collected owl jewelry; The pendant was hers. I added the chain and asymmetrical beads; I'm not sure it shows too well, but there's also a pearl drop added to the clasp. The owl moves in three different hinged parts.

Thanks for looking!
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Bunnies and Aliens; Oh my! on: January 03, 2011 06:50:19 PM

Here are a couple of pictures of recent projects; I'm always so excited to give it to the intended person, when I finish a project I rarely remember to take a picture of it; therefore, "recent" is used loosely.  Roll Eyes

The small bunny in the middle is a cat toy filled with catnip.

I've made a total of 4 of these, but only 1 picture... I also added my niece's initials inside the heart on hers. I use different fabrics for the printed parts on each bunny.

3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Embroidered Thug Gloves on: February 03, 2008 06:17:38 PM
I embroidered this on store-bought gloves for my supercool sister. She has a tattoo that says "Lady Luck" and a serious love of all things mafia related. The letters go right across her upper knuckles when she makes a fist, like a thug's knuckle tattoo (also an appreciation of hers).

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Hector the Tigersnake on: February 03, 2008 06:09:46 PM
Here's a present I made for my boyfriend's son. Sorry for the poor pic quality: I used my phone. He has a waffle-like texture and tie-dyed felt eyes, and was really fun to make.

Here's a closeup of Hector's head:
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The Christmas Squid on: February 03, 2008 06:01:09 PM
Here's a picture of my first toy sewing project without a pattern. It was a present for my nephew for Christmas (hence the fancy-pants name).  Smiley
It's kinda hard to tell, but he's made of silver faux fur and has a leopard print watch.
