So I've been busy the past 6-8 months. I've caught up on some projects and have even opened up my etsy store in the past week  (while at home recovering from an upper respiratory infection) C&C's welcome. I hope to keep up this pace. I'm really enjoying making the headbands. Some of them I've crocheted others are store brought with my own handmade embellishments added. I even have a model lined up for future pictures.

I saw this and wanted to post it for those who are looking to make a dress form. It's a metal dress form from the lakeside collection website. I figured it can be used as a base for making a double all you would need to do is use batting and muslin to increase the dimensions to your size. I plan to get one and do that for my size. Hope this was helpful to someone.

My daughter's Senior prom dress, 2 days in the making.  I used design elements from several different dress styles to come up with this final product. I didn't use a pattern and spent most of the time adjusting the top. All in all I'm satisfied with it. My daughter loves it. She's exiting HS with a bang. If you see and outdated date stamp on the pics ignore it. These were taken today when se was getting ready for the prom.
