I got my package from v3nu5 a few days ago but I finally have time to post pictures!  Here we go!

A group shot of all the wonderful treasures.  When I got it, everything was wrapped up in it's own colorful tissue paper with a little note:

I loooooove Kingdom Hearts so she made me some kingdom hearts treasure, complete with their own treasure box.  Close-up:

Then some hair bobbles inspired by Mulan with kanzashi hair flowers:

A gorgeous beauty and the beast rose and matching bracelet:

DOry, Doug and Cowgirl Jesse bowls (I couldn't fit all three into a decent picture):

Adorable Mickey Mouse picture holder:

Some sweet Jack Sparrow earrings:

And, the grand finale, a t-shrit with Sora from Kingdom Hearts, stenciled in the Steamboat Willy cartoon style (it also has some extra Disney patches sewn on):

Thank you so much v3nu5!  You are a superstar!!
3  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Can't Get Enough Disney Swap! (Sendouts EXTENDED! July 6th) on: June 28, 2011 12:38:15 PM
I played an open mic night last night and worked on my large while I was there listening to the other artists and everyone was so curious about my crafting!  I think I talked to twice as many people as I usually do, all because everyone wanted to know about the swap.  Smiley

I think I'm off to a good start but it's my first swap ever!  I'm trying to stick with what I know but I couldn't help experimenting with some wacky crochet ideas (I'm not really one to stick to patterns when it comes to yarn).  So excited and kind of nervous, I love disney, though!

I'm not on the list but I tried to sign up!  Did my message not go through?

8  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Soul Eater Cosplay Hat, Help Me Please! on: July 16, 2009 09:14:01 AM
I have been trying to construct a hat for Patty, from the anime Soul Eater, but it has turned out to be way more difficult than I thought.  I've got a good start with the brim and everything, but I can't figure out how to make the top with the little bloopy thing.  The material I was going to use is white faux-leather, which I happened to have lying around.  If there are any experts out there, I would really appreciate the help.

here is a picture of the character:

I also want to make a matching hat for her sister, Liz.  We have all three of these characters in our cosplay:

Thanks to anyone who offers their insight!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: really really ridiculously shiny bathing suit. on: April 06, 2009 03:24:51 AM
This is so ridiculously shiny it blew my perspective on ridiculousness and now even calculus seems sensical.  Thanks . . . thanks a lot.  But really, I love it!
