1  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: Chemo Cap Tutorial on: February 29, 2008 03:52:27 PM
YAY! Thanks for posting these ladies - My son was on the receiving end of a chemo cap and a chemo love blanket (quilted) when he was sick, and anyone who does this you will be remembered always by a child or adult. They may not know your name, but they know you did something because you wanted to help. Money for charities is great, but something like this really leaves a lasting impression.

Yes Thank you Lothruin! I would never have dared do cabling (well not for a while) if it hadn't been for the challenge!

Well the start of it anyway! I'm not done, but I saw no one else had tackled the double knit hat (or at least I didn't see in the search!)

So here's how I've started so far:

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Easy, top down raglan, bulky yarn. pattern on blog. on: February 18, 2008 08:51:06 AM
I can't wait to see all of these! I sort of want to embellish mine, like with a goofy flower near the neck, or a duplicate stitch of OBAMA 08, but thats just because I 'm a giant, hopeful, nerd

mmm Obama *drool*
lol Smiley
I'm a hopeful geek too hon!
