91  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Marilyn Monroe in stitches...my first cross stitch ever... on: April 10, 2008 09:16:27 AM
Awesome!  How did you get the pattern out of photoshop?  Would love a tutorial on how to make photos into x-stitch patterns!

Great job!
92  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Need opinions to choose block layout! on: April 10, 2008 08:27:08 AM
I like the arrow or spiral.  The arrow is a pattern I've never seen before.
93  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Raggedy Anne YoYo doll on: April 08, 2008 06:28:24 PM
My sister and I had a doll like this when we were children (born in the early 1960's).  For the 'hands' and 'feet' there were jingle bells (like sleigh bells) and he had one hanging on the end of his triangle shaped hat.  He had no hair until I drew some on with ball point pen (boy, did I hear about that).  I think my great-aunt Pauline made him.

We called him Jingles.  Cheesy

Love your version and I'm inspired to make one for my sister!
94  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Stained glass window on: April 07, 2008 02:07:05 PM
Was it all clear glass when you started or was it just the frame and you added all of the glass?

I just started doing stained glass and I love it!
95  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: Beds for less fortunate pets! on: April 02, 2008 04:46:10 PM
Yes, please make a tute!  All of us animal lovers and volunteers would like an easy pattern!
You do great work!
96  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Weaved purse on: March 25, 2008 07:44:52 AM
This is very cool!  I'm always looking for things to do with old magazines. Did you use a pattern or tutorial?  Will you write one for us?
97  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Scrappy Gal Tote on: March 13, 2008 09:01:45 AM
hmmm.... looking at those other 'winning' bags I have to wonder what the judges were thinking?! This bag is awesome and the most functional of any that are posted on their website!  It's professionally made, the fabrics are well suited and one can never, ever have too many pockets!

I'd be proud to take this bag crafting!  Awesome, awesome!!
98  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: My Pet Swap Gallery on: March 12, 2008 08:27:14 AM
Hey pet swappers- I thought you might be good people to ask... one of my coworkers has a pit bull that looks JUST like this guy. She'd like me to replicate the costume for halloween... any thoughts on where I might find fur like that?

omg!  I HAVE to have a pattern or something for my guy too!  This is fabulous!!
99  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: "Hideous Birds" Rock Vintage Fabric on: March 11, 2008 10:07:10 AM
Awesome! Original!  Can't wait to see a bigger flock.  And I agree - a great way to use fabric that you can't find another use for... but is there really an 'ugly' fabric??  Cheesy
100  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Lots of denim and zipper sliders on: February 17, 2008 08:05:13 AM
I've made two of these quilts out of old jeans.  I used a cereal bowl as my template.   Grin

Here's one I made for my mom.  Grin

Llola - this is a fantastic quilt!  Very inspiring!
