My name is Nancy & I am trying to get one started! Let me know if you're still intersted. Also, I am coordinating a craft & gift fair June 26th in Orlando & we are still looking for vendors. It will be indoors & a 10x10 booth will cost $20. If you or anybody you know are interested, email me at: babybowmadness@yahoo.com for an application form!

Hey Mandarin!  I think your prices seem reasonable.  Your dolls are adorable, your bags are cute, and the sculptures are outstanding.  Now, although those wooden chests are super cute, I personally wouldn't pay that much for one.  But then again, I don't know how many hours went into it, and if it is carved by hand or maybe slightly bigger.  I know you are looking for honesty, so please don't hurt me! lol.

Here's a thought, I personally haven't heard of Moldova, and maybe a lot of people haven't, why not set up a link that tells people about the country, where it's located, some facts about it?  Educate them, let them KNOW about Moldova.  Okay, that was my two cents! lol.

Thanks...I still haven't changed the prices to the ACTUAL prices yet...and I know... I have to get better pictures.  But for some odd reason, I am having problems focusing with my digital and then working the flash...oy!  Thanks for the tip!

10  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / How do I get over it?! on: July 23, 2008 01:36:20 PM
I have been making stuff for a couple of years, and always just tossed a random *most likely underpriced* price at it, and called it a day.  Well, I finally STOPPED doing that, and actually did the calculations...and it turns out that the price is a little more then what I had thought it would be if I paid myself an hourly wage plus supplies.  I am obviously going to STOP underpricing myself, but how can I help myself feel confident in knowing that it's actually priced CORRECTLY *for once*  Does that make any sense?

HELP!?! lol  Thanks!
