1  Bracelet & Earrings polymer clay beads in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by 4cybercats on: January 30, 2008 10:37:25 AM
I used a mixture of glass beads, lampworked beads and my own handmade pink and blue polymer clay beads.
This is a lot of fun to make from start to finish.

5  Primitive Folk Art Mixed Media Painting collage house with bible verse in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by 4cybercats on: January 18, 2008 09:36:54 PM
I really enjoyed creating this painting.
It's on canvas. I painted with acrylic paints. Collage from a missal that I tore out and painted over. I then applied beeswax to protect the colors/painting and to give it some texture.
I thought it turned out pretty neat for you be the judge.

thank you for taking the time to view my art, have a wonderful day:)

6  Another OOAK Silkstone barbie that I created + her outfits and jewelry in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by 4cybercats on: January 18, 2008 09:30:29 PM
Again I removed all her make-up and started from a clean slate. I painted all her face.
Then I designed her bridal dress, jewelry, veil and flower bouquet.
It was a lot of fun to create and I hope you enjoy her.

Have a fabulous evening Grin

7  OOAK Silkstone Barbie that I created + her wardrobe in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by 4cybercats on: January 18, 2008 09:26:45 PM
What can I say I still love playing with dolls.
I purchased a silkstone barbie (collectors, not plastic like the regular barbies it's a heavy almost porcelain like finish).
I removed all her make-up, repainted her face, gave her a new haircut and created her stylish wardrobe and jewelry from scratch.
I hope you like her as much as I liked creating her.

Have a glorious weekend and let me know what you think...

9  tribal necklace, earrings and bracelet set - polymer clay & glass beads in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by 4cybercats on: January 18, 2008 08:48:21 PM
Yes I love polymer clay amoung other things. I like the fact that I can make one of a kind designs and color mixes etc.
I made a focal bead out of polymer clay, embellished with some shimmering powder, baked it according to manufacturers label and loved the final result.
What to do with a single bead...didn't take me long to come up with the idea to create a jewelry set around my bead.

Below is a link to a photo of my set. I hope you enjoy it.

Have a great weekend Smiley
