1  Hands up if you like hairy men! in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by Littleclouds on: December 13, 2009 08:18:22 AM
This is my newest craftation and I'm really happy with it because I accidently made it irreversible and it was so simple, just like sewing a big pouch really without the hassles of putting in a zip Cheesy

And if anyone can guess who the bearded man is will win a prize no jokes because I'm thinking its pretty unlikely heh heh heh  Roll Eyes

4  Peg bag ahoy! in Screen Printing: Completed Projects by Littleclouds on: April 21, 2008 02:32:32 PM
For the UK/ROI swop I made my partner a peg bag along with other things, since I've made more with the remaining fabric which have turned out sooo much better, I'm not sure why, I think its just practice makes perfect as I'm not the best of sewers & also as I wasn't in a rush to do it all (I had loads of problems last min!) I was able to calm it & position it all better.

I should of gave my partner the yellow one as I think the purple stands out more but I was crazy rushing so wasn't thinking straight at the time
This is what I sent her

Whatcha ma reckon? Better?

Lots of photos alert!

Here is the cute tote with my extra long handle added, its lined with this cool fabric that looks like a perforated grid/squares!

came with a matching cover for sketchbooks which is removable so I can reuse it with other sketchbooks once this one is finished  Cool The nice touch to this though are the pockets inside which come in useful for times when I want to carry as little poss!

& last but not least she made me these lovely earrings in my fave colours but it was the tag (it had cute clouds drawn on there & a nice message) that made me feel oddly warm inside ha!

thank you Edel, you were a good partner for my first swop! Now I'm looking forward to the next one!

8  First time using shrink plastic, probably mans best invention after the wheel in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Littleclouds on: March 16, 2008 04:58:58 AM
These were printed by the way, the thought of drawing on them would scare me abit as they sometimes just go poopy by law of nature! Heating them up is quite fun but tense at the same time especially when they stick together & your like  Shocked  Huh  Cry but when they go flat again you feel  Grin

I've taken to the technique of using 2 lollypop sticks to hold them down which works well but by the time I thought to do this I was pretty much on my last sheet! I'm already waiting to order more, another week before the lady gets stock in  Tongue

They've been varnished & put onto broochbacks & are about 5cm-6cm tall

Is it obvious what the pink ones are in terms of shape as I wasn't sure?!

9  Re: Warning! Embroidery of something maybe abit explicit! in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by Littleclouds on: February 29, 2008 09:09:06 AM
found the photo of the blanket I made, now looking at it, its not actually that great but gfndgjndfd did it take what seemed like forever to do so feel like it deserves a 2nd airing
(was in an exhibition the first time around!)

It says 'One day our time will come & when it does we will be merciless' hence the angry cute faces  Grin & the wallpaper it was hung on says pretty much the same thing but screenprinted instead which also took....FOREVER!

10  Warning! Embroidery of something maybe abit explicit! in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by Littleclouds on: February 28, 2008 04:17:01 PM
Wasn't sure if this is the right place to put it as it was done by a sewing machine by moving it around!? I think you guys call it freehand or motion maybe?! Anyway let me know if I need to move it elsewhere!

on the back it says bumslap! And this one is a woman punching someone but I now realise like a year later that's really not obvious at all!

I also made a blanket with angry animals sewn onto it by machine (was for an exhibition not for a child, that would be odd!) which took absolutely forever to do which I'll post if I can find a photo of it!
