I'm not sure what you mean by japanese memo pads.  Do you have a pic?  My husband is moving to Japan next month so I would be interesting in what they are.

So here's my newest creation.  It's a birthday gift for my Boss who's also a personal friend so; no, I am no sucking up.  :-) I made an apron out of this fabric awhile ago and she mentioned she would love a purse made out of it  Please pardon the stray threads and moss that fell on it.  I'll clean it up before I give it to her.

My mom is obsessed with Einstein (she's a physicist).  She has stuff with his face everywhere.  Here are some of my fav quotes by him:

There is actually a collar part in the back (that's even what the pattern calls it.  I actually figured it out after lots of cursing and putting it together wrong and then taking it apart. :-)  The pattern was just really hard to follow as to how to put it together and where to sew and where to press.  Thanks .

The title says it all.  Specifically, I am having problems understanding on how to do the back collar.  If anyone has worked with this pattern, any help would be appreciated
