I bought a couple 3/4 lengh sleeve t-shirts with cute necklines on clearance, I love them but they are way to short. I'd loke to try to make them into a shrug to wear over t-shirt dresses...any ideas where to start?

A freind of mine bougth me the Klutz Knitting kit, I think I've got it figured out, but when I cast on what do I do with the tail?  I tried watching the videos on stich guide, but you can;t really see what is being done with the tail.  I'm sure I'll have more questions soon.

The bride has asked me to make jewlery for me & the other 2 girls to wear (we don't need to match). We are probably going to be wearing black pumps with pink bow shoe clips, thats not  a deffinate yet (I think the bows on the shoes would be to much! The shoes that she is wearing in the pic aren't avalible & I've just spend a LONG time looking, so if any one has seen those shoes elsewhere please let me know!)...what would you make to wear with this dress.   
I love the necklaces with the pearls & the bow  but I think that is a little over kill... any other suggestions?

I have a few Quaker oats & Grits canisters, they are a thicker cardboard. I'd like to seal them to use them as canisters for pretles, gum & candy.    How best to do this? What kind of sealer will seal printed paperboard & be food safe?  I would be sealing the outside, I don't think I'd need to do the inisde, is this safe?
