1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Different recipes for mac n' cheese on: April 06, 2006 10:31:02 AM
My fav boxed Mac & Cheese is Annies brand. I LOVE the white cheddar with some steamed fresh veggies, or a andfull of frozen veggies thrown in the last 5 mins of cook time with the pasta.

I haven't read all these posts yet, so some may already be here...  One box of Cheddar Mac & Cheese add

Tex-Mex  ... add any combination of the following: chilli Powder, Garlic Powder (or minced garlic), cumin, diced hot peppers, a can of diced tomatoes with hot pepper,  add Pepper Jack cheese & or extra sharp cheedar.

Italian: oragano, parsely, garlic, parm or ramono cheese. cooked itamian sausage or chicken.

Pizza: diced mozzarella, pepperoni, mushroom & a can of dice tomatoes.

Cheese Burger Deluxe: Add extra cheddar cheese, diced tomatoe, browned ground beef(add a little pepper & seasoned salt while ypu cook it), mustard. Servin a big bowl with a little squeeze of ketchup  on top.

Mom's Best: extra cheedar, parm, some brown or whole grain mustard, fresh ground pepper, & dice ham.

My Fav: Annies White Mac & Cheese add cooked lima beans, peas, mustard, garlic salt, & spinach.  YUMMY!!

One of my favorite skits on Kids On the Hall was when they were eattng "Kraft Dinner"  got all excited aboput the second course & added a big squirt of "Fancy Ketchup".  LOL

Budget Living is no longer being published ... back in Dec. my Credit Card was charged for a renewal of my subscription, as well as several gift subscriptions ... they sendt me a recap of my order (ordered over phone with my cc), with some nice little businesws cards stating that a year of the magazine was on the way...
So for Christmas I made a nice card & a book mark & added a couple of stacks of the little post-it flags so my freinds cold mark the project they wanted to try....
Well  STILL no magazine & NOthing from them telling me what they were gong to do....

Anyone else in this boat??!!   I'm really embrassed ....  I got this as Christmas gifts as in that was the whole gift for my 2 sisters in law & a few freinds.... & it was part of my Mom's gift as well ..  Now I look like a dead beat... goof butt!!

There web site is till up ... & I've emailed every address on the site... I got back 1 email saying the magazione had folded.... no info as to what to do....
Any help wouild be very appreiciated!!

Is that a Hershey Kiss rose?  I like making them with Easter colored kisses with clear saran wrap.  =)  They make cute centerpieces, a few in a vase.
10  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: cute cuts for curly hair...help me out here? on: March 20, 2006 08:12:10 PM
I HAVE LONG VERY STRIGH VERY FINE HAIR.  Do have the little strip in the back shversd too, she dies it with trimmer with the longest attachement. Keeps it neat when I pull it up so thos little hairs dont flyaway.

When I used to get spiral perms ... it WAS the 80's I had my hair cut at an angel abt 3 ionches belowe my chin & shorter as you went back. I loved it.  When it was hot out I coult tuck the side behind my ears or pull back with clips.

Layers always helped too when I wore it curly.
I'd love ot see how you grt it cut.
