What a neat fabric!  I always wanted to use a 'disco ball' type like that, but all I ever find is stuff with plastic sequins in the clearance isle that's atrocious.

Alright, so I am working on McCall's M4369, a basic mandarin dress:


and I am stuck on the mandarin collar.  Here's a link to the diagram:


and here's the exact instructions for this step:

Pin collar to neck edge, right sides together, matching centers and triangles to shoulder seams.  Clip neck edge as necessary.  Baste.  Stitch, keeping pressed edge of collar free.  Trim seam allowances.  Press seam allowances toward collar.  Hand-sew pressed under edge of collar over seam.

I don't know, I am not making the connections here.  Maybe I just need someone to hold my hand and walk me through it.  Help!

Overall, I likes this pattern, though as with most commercial patterns, I found some of the instructions confusing.  However, it came out great!


(Sorry, I can't post pictures yet, this is one of my first posts.) 

Overall, I'd give the pattern an A, but the instructions a B-
