A, all the way.

Thank you both.  Grin

Now I'm in the middle of finding the right robot images to turn into stencils for my kid's clothes that have grease stains on them.
13  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / no more anxiety about my stencil! on: April 06, 2008 10:03:21 AM
My first decent stencil. I can tell that I'm going to do this more and more often.

I am sewing an a line dark denim tea length skirt and this will be on the bottom right hem. The denim in the photo is scrap to test it on fabric.

Cutting

Awful job and I was mighty irritated with myself.

It bled terribly.

But I tried again...

I'm in love with it! Much simpler than I imagined.

I spent many many hours cutting a pretty (for me) detailed stencil. It's only my second but I am determined to get proficient at stencil making and using.

I am nerve wracked about how it's actually going to look and am putting off using it.

Anyone else do this or am I the only goober about this?  Grin
15  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fabric Spray Paint!? on: April 06, 2008 05:20:25 AM
I have some, tried it once, it bled like mad.

I am using it but spraying it into a bowl and then dabbing it instead of spraying it.

It had a hair trigger, too.  Angry

I'm terrible. I got an idea and had to make one more thing. I have got to stop! Grin

I had to load up my family and drive cross country for a sick family member and forgot to load up the package and now that I'm home I want to resew my large, I think. I knew I'd over think things if given the chance!

I'm going to think about it this morning and make up my mind.

I think that living in a cold climate has really helped me finish quickly, also. I will have to limit myself to one swap once spring really hits though.

I'm ready to send, I think. I'm going to look at them again before sending and tweak anything that needs tweaking but I don't want to over think anything.

I really like what I made and I hope my partner does also.  Grin
