1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Once You Pop Swap Round 11 - HOLIDAY EDITION signup 11/4-11 sendout 12/7 on: November 11, 2009 08:26:31 AM
PM sent to bronzfrog!

This is such a cute idea for a swap.

A scrap bag it is!

The paper bag was just to keep things from moving around too much. There is a very good chance I need to go look on my beading tray for the dream catcher. It was supposed to be connected to the bud vase.

My husband kept mocking me for making more things but it was all from my stash of things I didn't want to throw away but had no use for. Cheesy

All over it.

Just a few notes  Grin

The mobile is old crappy wire hangers, the pot holder hanger is to hang pot holders on it, the scrap bag is actually a pot holder to go with it.

The purse was actually a shopping bag that was sewn with the fabric to have no bottom seams to allow for heavy cans, I allot certain bags for certain kinds of items. I resewed it and lost a great deal of opening in the top but didn't want to go against the grain of the swap theme and buy fabric to redo it.

Did the dream catcher not make it?

Anyhow, I had fun and am glad you like it.  Cheesy

I would do this, or really my husband would. We were both wanting to build/sew/craft some other things steampunkesqe but having two steampunk swaps going would be a bit much I suppose.  Cheesy

Nevermind, I found another thread about it and now I feel silly for starting another thread. Apologies for wasting bandwidth.  Grin

My mayun and I were talking about all the interesting functional items that we could make and then he asked if there was steampunk swap going.

Anyone? Quick, before he builds me more things for the living room. Wink

Hooray for Saturdays!

Both my partner and I received on the same day, which is pretty keen.

A holdover envelope from the holidays;
removed because I am a goober.

Everything together;

Amazingly constructed journal interior;

Swap journal interior, very clever and will absolutely be used around here!;

Thank you for making my first swap very fun. My three year old has disappeared with the ornament (hence no close up) and when I ask him why he hid it he said because it says love and he loves me. I challenge any of you to argue with that logic.

I just don't give a shit enough about my previous point to maybe have the chance to argue about it online later. I disagree that it's that "I don't get it" but I don't care enough to piss and moan about it here. This is a craft board not a feminist theory board. Wink

So, I'll just asked how you made your pattern?
