Wow, it looks great, and you & your hair are so pretty!  I never thought to make these, since I already have a set of curlers, but they do seem a lot more comfortable to sleep in.  After seeing your results, I'm inspired!
8  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Will temporary tattoos transfer to glass? on: March 24, 2008 09:40:28 PM
I've transferred them to glossed wood, but that's not as smooth as glass.  I think the surface would need a little bit of roughness for the tattoo to stick, otherwise, it might slide off or scratch easily.

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Nothing wrong with a copy cat who wants to copy cat something this cute! on: March 24, 2008 05:07:39 PM
Are you going to be putting the plastic canvas inside the flat top part, or are you making handles that can be pulled out of the bag?  Both ways sound good - sorry I'm a little confused!

the idea is to sew it inside the fabric so that theres something stronger than interfacing holding the handles up. Because its a pretty sturdy looking clutch I don't want the handles crunching up and stuff

then again, the way to purse is sewn it might be easier just to use a really thick interfacing. I'm gonna give this a try very soon. I'll let you guys know what works lol

Ok, it makes sense now.  If you get the finer plastic canvas, I think it'd work pretty nicely, otherwise a really thick interfacing might be strong and also flexible.  The thick canvas might be too stiff.
