1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Baby seaturtle on: February 08, 2014 07:45:34 AM
Hello,

Saw the cutest pattern yesterday, and decided to pick up my crochet hook. Havent been crafting in about 2-3 years, but I feel that will change now! Smiley
Anyway, I have made a baby sea turtle, made by Planet June. He got a little odd and weird, but Im very pleased with him anyway. And the fact that he made me wanna crochet some more is just a bonus!

2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / What to do with finished embroideries? on: September 04, 2011 12:55:32 PM
As the topic says, what do you do with all your finished embroiderys?

I love making them, but dont know what to do with them when they are finsihed. Some has turned into wall-hangings, but my mom have gotten most of them, in case she get some ideas. (She is a quilter, so I hope she do something with them)
But I cant make hooplas or wall-hangings of all!

So tell me, what do you do? Smiley

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Granny squares? on: November 10, 2008 01:46:56 AM
Hi there,

I was just wondering what makes a granny square a granny square? Is it some kind of techinque?
As I have joined a swap with granny squares I was looking around for pattern thats free, and found several patterns on the website; www.crochetpatterncentral.com  But they are in categories of "Square 8"" and Im not sure everyone is a Granny square. I dont want to make a square and then my partner gets mad at me because I have done a non-granny square.
Hope anyone can help me! Smiley
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / My little Dj on: October 08, 2008 09:08:53 AM
This is Kalle, my Swedish little Dj-guy! He is made after a pattern from MadeByYou (but I think it is avalible in swedish only). But you can take a look at www.madebyyou.com (I think)

Anyway, he was finished pretty quickly, except his arms. So he lay in my UFO box for almost a month  Embarrassed before he got his arms. But now he is finished, and Im pretty happy about him! Smiley

Thanks for looking!

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Full flat of softies? on: September 10, 2008 06:29:41 AM
Hi!

I was just wondering what you guys do with all your softies that you make? Do you give them all away, or do you sell them, or something else?
The reason I ask this is because Im not sure what to do with all I have made. I try to sell some (on etsy), I give some away, but I still have lots that I dont know what to do with.
I dont know any kids. I have been thinking about sending them to a childs hospital, just to make the kids happy... Or do you have some other ideas?

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Making a whale, help! on: February 06, 2008 01:41:34 AM
Hello!

I have found a blog which have a pattern of a little whale to make! Super cute, so I started crochet at once, and now I have just a tiny bit left. I thought I could do it, but it turned out not as the piccie.

Here is a link to the pattern Im talking about
http://bittersweetblog.wordpress.com/2008/02/05/whale-of-a-tale/

I have come to the part where I should crochet flat, and Im not relly sure how to do.
Cause when I tried, I crochet through both layers of yarn, so I would get a flat end, but I maybe did wrong?
I hope someone can help me, so I get the cute tail and its looking nice. Smiley
10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigurumi-snail on: January 24, 2008 02:57:51 AM
Here is my first amigurumi! A little snail! Cheesy His name is Helixfelix (dont ask why) and Im pretty proud of him. The pattern is one I have bought, but for the next snail (I love "fairy-snails", not real ones tho) I will change some stuff, and hope for the best.
What do you think?
(I hope I have done it right with the piccies)
