i received, i received,i received!!! actually it was yesterday that i received, but i was a wee bit too busy to take pics and post =/. but, now my baby boy is sleeping, the husband is watching his tv show, and i got some time to myself, lol! on to the wonderful, awesome, magnet goodness i received from jmiller614!
here are all the magnets together (jmiller spoiled me!)
more close ups (my themes included zombies, skulls, coheed and cambria, system of a down, the breakfast club, and winnie the pooh!)
my fridge is looking pretty darn awesome these days, haha!
these pics do not do these magnets justice! (in fact, i couldn't do any adjustments to my cam cause the batteries decided to start to die out AND of course i ran out of my mega pack of batteries!) but, thanks so, so, so much jmiller, you did an AMAZING job! i love 'em all =)
So, I'm not entirely sure why, but for the past month or so I've been on a magnet kick! I've received some pretty awesome magnets in some recent swaps and that's just helped to propel my magnet kick even farther, lol! So, I was wondering...would anyone be interested in a magnet swap?? This is what I had in mind:
It wouldn't be a super big swap; a small one. I'm thinking maybe 6 magnets? 5 can be centered around your partners likes/themes/interests/etc. The last one can be a magnet of your choice. I know marble magnets are (were?) popular, however they are kinda, sorta, easy to make so I was thinking 3-5 marble magnets would equal 1 magnet? Also should there be like a set rule that creativity is a must? I mean that, it is super easy to just print out pics or whatever of your partners themes/interests and stick them on some magnet backing. 1 or 2 would be okay, but I think people should stretch their imaginations a bit more than just that.
One more thing, if there is enough people interested in getting this swap going, would anyone be willing to organize (hopefully following most of what was just said/mentioned )? If enough people want to do it and no one wants to organize I am totally willing, the only thing is I have an 8 month old son who keeps me mighty/insanely busy during the day so the only time I'd have to the any organizing would be after 10pm. Also, I'd have to keep the swap small, like maybe 10, just to insure I have enough time to give everyone in the swap my complete attention. Well, let me know what you all think! Happy crafting everyone!
all right, are we prepared for some m&m mini tube of awesomeness?! i received from megancrafts yesterday and, oh my goodness!, it is soooooo awesome! on to the pics =)
close up of the zombie cupcake. i love it!
close ups of the tube. (sorry the pics are sideways!)
the goodies in the tube. (wearing the bracelet right now!)
close up of these wee little birdies!
holding it so you can get a feel of just how teeny they are! i love them! megan, did you make these yourself? if so, how? they're awesome!
these were also in the tube, but i slapped those suckers up on my fridge as soon as i pulled them out, haha! i love them. i've been on a magnet kick lately so they're perfect!
and the goodies outside of the tube. (she spoiled me!) zombie headband.
the otherside has dragonflys. dragonflys have big part to do with one of my fave bands, coheed and cambria. megan, this couldn't have come at a better time. i'm going to a co&ca concert next saturday and i'm totally rockin' the dragonfly side of the headband!
So I decided I want to be Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. Only, you know, not fortunate enough to get away from the Big Bad Wolf! So I'm gonna have scratch marks on my arms and chest, maybe neck. The husband and I decided to play around with the makeup today to see what we could come up with. We used liquid latax, toliet paper, makeup (my regular, every day makeup!) and, of course some blood!
Oh, we also used Lippsstix 's awesome tutorial. After I showed the husband that post, he knew he wanted to be a zombie!
