21  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: PostSecret Round 10 Swap Gallery on: September 04, 2009 03:45:06 PM
Secrets!!

"I didn't realise my phobia had got so bad... I can't even look at a picture of a spider without feeling physically sick."

"Wish I knew what I want to be when I grow up. 56 & still wonder!"

"I KNOW I'm on a dangerous path, but I can't ask for help until I reach my goal."
The back just says, "Please notice the hints I'm dropping"

"I still suck my thumb when I'm: scared, tired, nervous, or upset."

Huhh, mine requires the use of a blade too...
But we probably aren't thinking of the same thing, lol.

Whimsy crafting has been put on hold for the time being, school has made my life alot more hectic. BUT I will get it done soon, and be able to send maybe in a couple weeks.

What is Hancock? Is that similar to Hobby Lobby? I could look it up but I don't feel like it, lol.

I only have a Michael's store that has a pretty bad selection of sea-related items... and I will most certainly not buy any foamies in the shape of a messed-up dolphin...

LOL

I think I'm all done! I just need to find a suitable box to ship it in!
I have to do the same thing. I may use one of the flat rate boxes, but my "jar" doesn't have standard dimensions. Any one know what size those boxes are?

I know they have two different sizes of mediums, one that is more boxy (11" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/2") and one that is more flat (11 7/8" x 3 3/8" x 13 5/8"). They have a really small one too (8 5/8" x 5 3/8" x 1 5/8"). The large ones are nice and roomy but they are so expensive, I think around $14 to ship, and it might not be worth it (unless your jar is really heavy). I just pulled the measurements from the site, and it says the large one is 12" x 12" x 5 1/2".

Hope that helps at least a little bit, lol.

oh, you're lucky.
joann's is way too close to my house here, and i am always getting in trouble.  Grin

Teehee, I always get in trouble too, even though it is far away. Whenever I am having a stressful day, I'm just like, "forget this, I'm going to Jo-Ann's on the way home." The end result is a bunch of remnant fabrics and random craft supplies that will hopefully come in handy someday.  Grin
