4  eyeball wreath in Halloween Decor and Parties by Tero on: October 27, 2010 08:51:54 AM
Hello All

Wanted to share this project that I just made as it was really quick and there is still time for folks to whip one out.

I will post more pictures later. So easy. I took a grapevine wreath and painted it black. Then bought several different sizes of plain wooded cabinet knobs.

Spray paint the knobs white and then paint your eye ball how you would like. Spray with laquer to give a wet shine to it all.

Hot glue wire into the hole on the back of the knob and wire eyeballs into place on the wreath.

Now (and this will make a mess) hot glue gobs of moss around the eyeballs and wreath.

Decorate with rubber snakes and jeweled spiders.

This was so much fun to make and it cracks me up every time I look at it.

Enjoy!

LOL, I was busy coming up with the post while you were posting the pictures. Smiley I am glad that you did though as some of yours are better than mine.

Here is my post, picture heavy !! Smiley
Well Ladies, get ready. I am not even sure where to start. I got my wonderful box on Monday and have been a bit overwhelmed ever since then. LOL

I just got spoiled with RhondaS proportions!! Amethyst went above and beyond. I am not sure how to show everything with out hogging the gallery so I will post a lot and then ask that you all go here.http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showgallery.php?cat=500&page=2&ppuser=124569
To see the rest.  Wink

Here is a very messy shot of the PILE of goodness that she gifted me with. LOL Minus the cat food, cell phone and ummmm project that is drying in the background. Wink all of this is from her!!

The first layer was fabric.a TON of fabric. All beautiful. There were batiks and lots of Halloween fabrics and prints and colors and solids. LOL
This is maybe half of it.

Two of my favorites

Then there was this little guy.  Grin How cute is he?

There were leaves that she gathered herself and pressed for me. They are beautiful and I can not wait to craft with them.
She also made me a really pretty Halloween box  I love it

When I opened the box, it had an extra surprise in it. The picture on the lid is a lovely haunted house and inside was a beautiful hand crocheted candle holder in the shape of a leaf. The colors are beautiful.

The children got spoilage as well, this was so sweet. Skye had already made you a card that needs to be dropped in the mail.

Are you ready for this, she sent me a GALLON zip lock bag stuffed full of lace, trims and vintage hankies

Some of the best incense I have smelled in years!! Nag Champa is my favorite and Patchouli is a close second but this is called patchouli forest and it is heavenly!! What wonderful abundance work I am going to be able to do with this!!

She made me this beautiful fall necklace. It is so so pretty. The leaf is glass and she has crystals in the chain. I really love it.

Get ready to wist..

I actually squealed (really loudly) when I opened this box.

Seriously I would have been cool if she only sent these. LOL Those are real acorn caps that she attached to hand crocheted acorns. AND she made them ready to hang.

She sent me three vintage patternsbecause she is cool

She made me a BEAUTIFUL fall journal. She put so much detail into this, there are ribbons to hold my place and she traced leaves on the cover and back with glitter.

It keeps goingLOL

She crocheted two really beautiful Halloween dollies

She gathered a gallon zip lock bag full of big acorns for melove these. We dont have them here.

I got TWO altoid tins for my decorating pleasure AND they were filled with whimsies..

She sent me BEAUIFUL stone beads and pendants to make jewelry with. So much, they are all just wonderful.

AND she sent another gallon zip lock bag of random wonderful craft supplies!!

Received from PureOath a few days ago! I LOOOOOOOOOVE everything. I'll post pics in the gallery as soon as the battery on my camera charges. :-)

Glad you got it all! Also glad Tero let me pick through some of her extra stash for you and Poozel. She's not only is a great organizer, but she's just pretty great all around!

Ah your sweet Smiley Thank you
I wish I could have come up with a suprise package for each person. My paper stash is large to say the least and every list I read over I found myself saying.."Oh I could share that, Oh and that"

LOL

Well I have received from both of my partners ! Smiley I have pictures to share of puamelia wonderful package and hopefully will add alteredmommy's pictures tomorrow. Both of you spoiled me and I loved the goodies, thank you so much.

Puamelia's stash of paper goodness

The camera and light were not working with me but that counter is about 6' by 3' and it was FILLED. There are scrapbook papers in there, stacks of foreign language books, newspapers and fliers. All kinds of found paper goodness from Hawaii, drawings, stamps the list goes on and on. Smiley

I am so sorry for the blur but these papers are amazing. For sure one of my favorite things in the swap. Smiley

Check out the seaweed that she got and pressed for me. I LOVE this so so much. I think it will be framed rather than put in a journal. Smiley

Sweet little drawings by her and her children.
Thank you so much for all of the thought and effort you put into my package. I really do love it. I am so sorry it took so long for pictures. Smiley

Well, we had to share.  Dania got a beautiful package from Lauren yesterday. First of all thank you so much Lauren for all of your hard work and energy that you put into that special package.

Dania's very favorite was a hand painted t-shirt. Smiley

It went on as soon it came out of the box. Smiley
Lauren went on to spoil Dania with......

A wood burning of Taylor Swift, the softest stuffed dolphin I have ever felt and a cute wooden D dolphin sign.

Then there was also...

A stuffed apple in the Twilight theme...

Followed up with....

A hand painted twilight jewelry box. She had the box filled with another sweet little dolphin and a pretty dolphin hair bow.

The box was painted on all sides, each side stood for a different twilight book Smiley

Then she made Dania an etched glass with her name on it and a palm tree. Smiley This was REALLY hard to get a good photo of.

She made Dania a scrapbook out of a sketchbook. Smiley

A really neat tote bag with the game of life logo hand painted on to it. Smiley

A sweet door hanger

and last but not least a very nice painting for Dania's room. Smiley

Thank you again so much for all of your hard work. Dania loved everything. Smiley
