1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Stormageddon's Guide to the Galaxy on: May 14, 2013 06:16:04 PM
So I might have put a Rebel Alliance logo, a Browncoat logo, a Starfleet insignia and a Seal of Rasillon on a baby blanket.
What do you expect to happen when you receive an invitiation to a Jedi themed baby shower?   "The Force is strong with this one."  And Mommy has been known to refer to him on FB as Stormageddon.
This. This happens.

It wants to be called Stormageddon's Guide to the Galaxy.

This is me not the recipient, just for a better idea of the size. Had to take lots of pics before I gave it away. My hubby actually took these at a Whataburger on my way to the shower.

Close ups of the logos

Since pioneer9 doesn't have a camera, here's her flag from me.
A castle on a cloud for the word "dream."

Received a lovely flag from pioneer9

And I love the metallic thread, every time I work with it I want to tear my hair out. Yay, needed some joy in my life.

CraftyMamaBee, I'm so glad you like the grace flag.
I've loved seeing the acclaim yours has gotten.

Y'all, I was fortunate enough to have my partner post pics for me while i was ill. But I do know what a lucky lucky recipient I am and I need to publicly gush over what I received from her!
It is perfect. My husband hung it over my head while I recouperated. (Funnily enough it goes perfectly with our bedroom decor because the window treatments are coffee bags.)

Just saying hi! Got out of bed from a nasty sinus infection and earache. (Wonder really if I should have even been allowed sharp objects) but I tried something new AND IT WORKED  Cheesy

Just sent in my questionnaire.  Hopefully both organizers have it, I kinda had to outsmart the messaging thing to get it to work. Looking forward to this. Smiley

Isikkah, be honest, you've also been pinning the heck out of prayer flags on pinterest!

I'm so glad pinterest has secret boards now. Last swap I did I realized I had filled up a board with inspiration pics for what I was working on only to send my partner over there to get to know me. yikes

From ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties and things that go bump in the night, O Lord please protect us.
What I should've said was...from little sister's surgery, identity thieves, assorted hassles and things that go bump in the night. My little sis is ok for now, but her procedure and the family that was at my house because of it bumped my vacation several days and we returned from a less than relaxing trip to a letter from the police saying that our personal info had been found (along with many others') somewhere it had no business being. Then...I can't really elaborate on the hassle except that it was sooo very upsetting on sooo many levels and kind of sent me into emotional duck and cover mode. I haven't been on here for several weeks, so I haven't gotten to gush about what petskin or others made. (Or bask in the gushing for myself. Thankya thankya). And there were actually things going bump in the night. As yet uncaptured animals in the attic right above our bed.

But without further ado my package from petskin.

There's this creepy little fellow...

and this sweet fascinator

Neither felthing nor papier mache is anywhere near my skill set.
And since I keep the pumpkins out til Thanksgiving and the hats out all the time in the Mad Hatter's Tea Party dining room (Hi, nooitare!) They're both still out even now. Thanks, petskin!

Made Darling Hubby's mask and blazer "mbellish-ments"
Frogs, epaulettes, and cords. Who know that those cords are the same knots as those trendy paracord bracelets? Last year we won first place at swing dancing costume contest, but this year we placed second. I made my hat and wig, but the only thing new on Janis is the wax lips.

Isn't he cute? And so very Muppety.

(I'd post more pics but every time I try it keeps showing the same one.)
