I adore green smoothies and have at least one a day. Romaine with bananas and water is one of the most simple. Kale is also delicious, as is spinach or parsley. Fruits like mangoes, pineapple, pears, peaches, blueberries and bananas help to make these smoothies taste sweeter. If the fruit is frozen, it helps make the smoothie thicker...or you can add some ice. You can google green smoothie recipes. The biggest thing to remember is that you should blend the greens (which are cut or torn into smallish pieces) with the water before you add any fruit. If you put it all in the blender at once and you are not using a powerful blender like a Vitamix, it can get really frothy in a bad way. I know these aren't really recipes, but you need to take your blender size into consideration.
