1  STICKS INSPIRED OTTOMAN in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by floydh2 on: July 29, 2008 09:11:09 AM
I got this old plywood toy box from goodwill for 8 dollars...it was falling apart but i figured i could do something with it. After padding the lid and started to burn Sticks inspired stuff on all 4 sides. I used normal apple barrel paint as stain and i LOVE it. It looks sooo much better in person than in these pictures.

Let me know what you guys think.

So i went a yard sale a while back and got a bunch of stuff for 8 dollars and this plain white corner shelf was one of the items. After fixing the holes and gaps in the wood, I used fence post for feet and gave it a quick paint job.

Let me know what you think

I am going to a Kentucky Derby Party this weekend and i had to have a hat for the hat contest. I decided to do a rose because they give the horse that wins a horse shoe of roses at the end of the race. So I used red fleece and I hat that I got at Walmart as a base. I put a little bee on it because bees are my thing. let me know what you think about it Smiley

6  My first Feltie inspired by loveandasandwich in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by floydh2 on: April 30, 2008 06:45:03 PM
Loveandasandwich made the coolest 80's and 90's teddy bears that cracked me up. I just got home from college and was super bored and decided to try my hand at one myself. My bear is made in the likeness of Mr. T....I like to call him Mr. B
Thank you Loveandasandwich for the amazing inspiration
