1  Crochet Cupcake/Pincushion in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by MisterChris on: March 25, 2008 01:47:29 PM
My first post!!!   Grin

I made this for a friend's birthday.  She is recently getting more into sewing, and is quite a crafty person herself, so I thought I would make her a cute pincushion.

Basically I followed this pattern from Nimoe's Blog and added pins for the sprinkles.
The only thing I changed was the edging of the frosting, though the modification didn't change the look of the end product.  I wanted the edge to be more scalloped, so I alternated (sc, ch1, sc) with (sc, dc, sc).  However, once you sew the top on, it comes out the same.

Here is the finished product without sprinkles (and color accurate):

Thanks for looking!!
