Well here it is! We received Thursday night but this is the first chance I had to post. MyrnaMinx sent three hand silkscreened shirts (I believe) maybe it's stenciled? Here's an action shot with the shirt and the bag.

Forgive me, it was morning and the last day of summer school, she was not alive yet... but I was too excited to take the picture!

Here's a closeup of the shirt

Thank you MyrnaMinx, she loves them and as you saw was into them first thing! Thank you for being an awesome partner!

I received today!!

Myrna Minx sent an awesome messenger bag that my daughter has already loaded with her books for summer school tomorrow, I have a feeling this bag will be well worn very soon! I think she wasn't sure that I was going to give it to her, you should have seen her face light up when she realized I was. Made the whole thing worth it, thank you Amy!!

She also sent a Hex bag, and thankfully put her own idea of charms inside as opposed to what's usually in them!

She's still finishing up one last item and I'll post pix when she sends that to me!

This was a lot of fun, I'm glad we finished in the off season so that the wait won't seem so long until next season. Hope you all had as much fun as I did! Thank you again Myrna Minx!!

Thank you Jennecca! You totally rock my socks off!
You're welcome Kiwi-Chickie, I'm so glad you like them!

I also received my package today!

The brown wrapped stones are my favorite! Sorry the picture doesn't do them justice!

These are all so gorgeous!

I love the purple ones here, the striations in the stone are wonderful! She even made a pendant for me! I just love the colors and the green pearl!

Thank you for being my very first swap partner Kiwi-Chickie I love what you made me!

Don't go naked!

4  Re: Paper Craft Earring Hanger in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by jennecca on: February 09, 2008 05:14:05 PM

I'll have to see if I can locate one in a thrift store...or MAKE ONE MYSELF! Wink How hard can it be, really...

Actually...since you mention it, we used the idea of the tie rack to make a medal display rack for my husband's athletic medals... We found a cool piece of wood moulding, painted it in a glorious orange and used roof screws in an orangey color. We cut it to fit the room, so it actually is like a crown moulding and works great to display his medals... here's are pics  Cheesy

I was going to do this in a smaller fashion for my necklaces until I found his old tie rack, with so many different styles of moulding out there, you could have fun with that! And of course, there's always the cork board and crazy push pin... they have strips of cork board now for the office, but why not for the bedroom??  Wink

5  Paper Craft Earring Hanger in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by jennecca on: February 09, 2008 03:00:33 PM
I saw this earring hanger in a paper craft magazine over the holidays and I knew I had to try to make it! I used 2 sheets of 12x12 scrapbook paper, scrapbook eyelets and a hanger from the closet. I cut the paper to fit the hanger, glued it on with all  purpose white glue and then poked holes where the grommets went and added them with the tool included in the kit and my husband's hammer. I used a cutting matte underneath the paper when I was hammering to protect the table. I'm really pleased with the result! I only did one row for now, and I have some extra room for more fish hook earrings, guess I need to get busy making those now! Smiley Here are the pix(click for larger), hope you like it!

6  Crazy Hat Day - Poker Table in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by jennecca on: January 21, 2008 10:05:21 PM
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I think technically this is clothing...
For work, my husband gets to show his creative side when they have Activities week... tomorrow is crazy hat day, so here is the hat he crafted.

The glasses are filled with hand colored resin, and the rest is all just fun.

Hope you enjoy!
